Steve Corino is another one. The guy bladed a tone in the early 00s. The PG era saved HHH from getting that way, you look closely enough you can tell he started to get that kind of forehead. But the PG no blading stopped that. I was trying to find a good Triple H pic from about the time before PG for this thread. He was looking bad there for awhile, when he’d bleed every month for PPVs and sometimes in between to build feuds

Sasha Banks jokes aside, are there any women with scary foreheads? Or is blading a pretty exclusively male practice?

Recent documentary on Matt Tremont has RSP and Atticus Cogar talking about making sure to cut just above their hairline to avoid the kind of visible damage we’re seeing in this thread.
Doesn’t exactly seem like rocket science, which makes me wonder if the scarring wasn’t the whole point for some of these jokers.

Steve Corino was definitely a guy that seemed like he was scarring his head on purpose so he’d seem hard.

I'm surprised Brody had so many scars considering how he never seemed to do anything to make his opponents look good. I am seriously interested in hearing specifics about times he bladed to draw blood to make the match work and make another person look good. I’m just here to say that when I was a teenager I was scared shitless of Abdullah the Butcher. My father brought a WCW magazine home (the one with Missy and PN News on the cover) I just got a copy of that mag last weekend. Love the Xmas Rap PN News wrote for it.

The fact that his forehead is as naturally wrinkled as it is probably also helps take attention away from the blade scars.

He was in a multi-year, multi-promotion feud with Abdullah the Butcher, blading wasn't a choice, it was a necessity.

To be fair to Bret Hart, him blading above his hairline is what probably saved him an ass chewing after WM8.
I'm all for judicious use of the blade if it adds something to a match or feud, but these guys had to cut themselves about 3 times a week for years on end to get those scars.

This thread has made me feel so much better about my un-bladed forehead! Thanks, OP!

King Curtis' forehead was in bad shape late in his career but, somehow, his voice never cracked or wavered.
That was a modern miracle.

Jeeze, Curtis looks like someone's lopped off the top of his skull and he's wrestling with his brain exposed. Villaino III's head was a mess of scars due to blading with a mask on and Steve Corino's forehead cost him a WWF run earlier in his career if the rumours circulating at the time are to be believed. Didn't one of the Villaino's also have chin scars from blading on his damn chin? EDIT: Yup. And of coursem it was Villiano III If you tinted the photo so it went purple would he look like Thanos?

This thread will come in handy when describing the practice of blading to non fans. So many assume it's a blood pack and think you're bullshitting when you explain that its actually blood and how it got there

That was one of Mick Foley's disappointments when he'd get busted open on TV or a major show; he'd have to go around the horn doing it. He didn't want the scarring.

It's not as bad as some listed here, but Keiji Mutoh's got more then a few scars on his forehead.
