Let's do another writeup and maybe make things a bit easier with a slight style change shall we? Let's see how week 10 looked. - Fightin Eagles vs Groose Football Team: How did I win this week? No seriously how?? After a Goose egg by Mike Gesicki and Freeman just underperforming projection I was really doubting myself... but after a tinker to the lineup putting Renfrow in for Thielen I just let it ride. Renfrow proved to be a net positive of about five points over Thielen on the night... though it would prove to not matter as the final score was 12. Underperformances by both Aaron Rodgers and DK Metcalf sunk Groose. A nightcap of Josh Jacobs also underperforming offset Travis Kelce going off... and the nights of Hill and Renfrow were enough to propel me to a close and much needed victory. My Fightin' Eagles (6-4) face The Sharks next while Groose (6-4) will look to right the ship against The Showstoppas in a huge clash. - The Hurts Business vs Jumping into the Shark. The losing streak continues for Shark as they got hammered this week once again. Hurts Business has rode the wire the entire year and the record hasn't bore much fruit. This week however the boom of Rhamondre Stevenson was felt. He and Stefan Diggs finally breaking out lead Hurts Business to a huge win and a 3-7 record which is tilting on a wildcard playoff berth as we get closer to that time of the year. The Sharks (1-8) will look to break the streak OR continue it against my Fightin Eagles... while The Hurts Business (3-7) will need to keep the dream alive vs Edge of Insanity. - Hakuna Matata vs Anal Bleeding Bob: A matchup of positioning proportions... this was a lower scoring affair. Demented's team suffering not one goose egg from Russel Gage but TWO in the same week with TJ Hockinson. Cooper Kupp saved it from being one of the lowest scoring affairs of the season... but definitely not enough to beat a Bob team powered by Justin Jefferson and the overfed D'Andre Swift. Hakuna Matata have gone from triumph to tragedy in losing three straight (5-5) and will face Return of the Jazz next. While Bob (6-4) will look to keep their newfound momentum alive against Sexy Billy in an even more important matchup than even this week was concerned. - The Fresh Princes of Bel Air vs The GYN Comfywolves: One of the latest come-ups of the season has been The Fresh Princes as they continue to string good enough performances together to translate into wins. Sometimes you just have to be good enough and have your opponents go through disasters of a week... and this has resulted in three straight wins for a team once under .500. Lamar Jackson and Ezekial Elliot were enough to seal the deal along with Tyler Higbee offsetting the Comfywolves late game heroics from George Kittle. The Comfywolves also dealt with a severe loss of Aaron Jones... though thankfully not a long absence it seems... GYN (4-6) will be forced to run with slim pickings in a crucial match which borderlines as a Playoff Knockout Game against Pumpkin Spice Mafia. Fresh Princes (6-4) will look to keep their streak going against Daley's Swell Winners. - The Showstoppas vs Sexy Billy: The Showstoppas have become the undisputed number one team in FANtasy at least as far as record is concerned. In an outing that wasn't even their best showing... AJ Dillon emerged late in a Green Bay game suddenly down Aaron Jones and put up 25 POINTS which sealed the deal against a Sexy Billy team that despite McCaffery and Najee's best efforts in a steller RB core performance... could not overcome the highest scoring WR being Rashod Bateman at 11 points. The Showstoppas (8-2) look to plow ahead in a big time matchup against Groose's Football Team. Sexy Billy (6-4) faces Anal Bleeding Bob in a huge matchup of positioning as they look to get a huge safety blanket win. = Daley's Swell Winners vs Return of the Jazz: Remember how Daley thumped me during my Bye Week hell? Yeah ever since then I think they've gone through a Bye week hell that lasted a whole season. Already down Henry... Burrow and Chase went on Bye and they were forced to dig through the garbage bin... and unbeknownst to them? Cam Newton would actually be involved a lot in Carolina's week one and score more points than the hopeless Mike White they put in their stead at QB. Mark Ingram however? Their band aid for Henry? Put up 18 points... which was really their only highlight as a lot of their starters continued to underperform and fortunes began to continue to turn sour. Jazz meanwhile have struggled themselves and lived and died by a number of Dallas Cowboys on their roster. They lived this week and SCORED THE MOST POINTS THIS WEEK. Not bad for the team I've constantly made note of having 60 point finishes... At 4-6... the Jazz need more help to try and sneak into the playoffs. They face Hakuna Matata and hope to do so. Daley (5-5) the once king of FANtasy land will try not to skid to the bottom... but will need to overcome The Fresh Princes in a big matchup. - Edge of Insanity are a solid team and second in the league... but they basically had this week punted to them as Pumpkin Spice Mafia... one of the most confusing teams in the league to track... simply chose not to replace Graham Gano or the NYG Defense this week. If they had would it have mattered? Maybe not... but it guaranteed a loss. Edge ran away with this one thanks to Johnathan Taylor's fantasy bell cow status and a MONSTER game by Deebo Samuel. Edge succeeded despite the best efforts of Russel Wilson looking absolutely atrocious on his first game back. Spice had Dalvin Cook and Austn Ekeler do well... but the week was lost before it was one. Edge (7-3) will face a Hurts Business who is always on the ball and looking for an upset while Spice Mafia (3-7) now need a season saving win or bust against the Comfywolves. - 9 of the 14 teams continue to have a .500 record or better in the league. A Playoff Spot is within reach for 13 of the 14 teams by two games or less. The league continues to be extremely deep and unpredictable. - In respect to his injury this week I no longer hate Aaron Jones and hope he gets better and soon... but Mike Gesicki don't you ever do that shit to me again! I won by 46. A kicker and a def from the waiver wire would have mattered at all.

My game is predicted to be something like 112.1 to 111.9
The closest of margins.
I bet my team scores 90 and it doesn’t matter at all.

The Clyde Edwards-Helaire trade has paid off so far. I hope that keeps up cause I need RB stability like this badly.

I've been impatiently waiting for 10 years for the Seahawks to be bad again. And it feels great. But of coarse it had to be the same year I had Wilson in fantasy.

As long as Golladay doesn't score 40 points then victory is mine!
And I'm gonna need it too since next week my Chiefs players are on bye and I have to face Edge...

Let's do a writeup. A tale of playoff spot dogfights and two teams running through EVERYONE right now... - The Fightin Eagles vs Jumping into the Shark: A very big win for my team looking into next week. A very balanced effort and damn near my best overall running back performance combined in weeks. Picking up Devonta Freeman and trading for Clyde Edwards-Helaire has paid dividends. Shark held strong with me for awhile thanks to Myles Gaskin and surprise Waiver pickup Jarvis Landry... but the late push by Tyreek Hill and CEH put it to bed for me. At 7-4 my team is 3rd in the League! The highest I've ever been! With Hill and CEH on late bye however... a win vs Edge of Insanity will not be easy. While Jumping into the Shark sit at 1-10... with 10 straight losses. They will need a lot of help to pull off the upset of the year against The Showstoppas! - The Hurst Business vs Edge of Insanity: This wasn't even fair. It just wasn't. It's not like Hurts Business even had a bad week... their namesake scored 30 points this week! They just faced Edge of Insanity. A team that has won five straight and run a train through this FANtasy league of late. Jonathan Taylor scored 50 POINTS by HIMSELF. Edge racked up over 154 point and was basically in autopilot very early into this contest... it didn't even matter that Russel Wilson sucked! At 3-8... Hurts Business has a season hanging on by a thread going into a Pumpkin Spice Mafia showdown. Edge however is sitting pretty in second place at 8-3... and will look to kill me and my team next behind his lord and savior Taylor - The Groose Football Team vs The Showstoppas: Groose had impressive showings from Aaron Rodgers who massively bounced back with 33 points and Travis Kelce... but the rest of the team underperforming is what inevitably did them in to FAN's first place team and also winners of five straight. The Showstoppas roared back with late games and Tom Brady and Chris Godwin's power trip. Doesn't hurt to have Joe Mixon and James Connor either... and Groose just couldn't overcome it. The Showstoppas are 9-2 and will be the first team to double digits if they pass The Sharks. Groose at 6-5 suddenly finds themselves in danger... Bob's Team looms ahead in what will be a crucial match for both teams. - Hakuna Matata! vs Return of the Jazz: Hakuna Matata has had the second worst luck in the league lately. That did not change despite this being an UGLY game. Jazz didn't dominate but did ENOUGH to put this away at the barn burning score of 72.34 to 64.96. In a contest where both quarterbacks in Prescott and Fields combined for SEVEN POINTS... the deciding factor was inevitably Demented leaving Elijah Mitchell and his 25 fantasy points on the bench for fellow Jet Corey Davis and his... five points. The deciding win came in the last game of the week and the return of Saquon Barkley... as underwhelming as his 8 points were? They were enough. Both teams come out of this at 5-6... Jazz riding momentum is looking to secure a playoff spot and will need to beat Sexy Billy to do it. Demented will look to end a horrific four game losing streak at he worst possible time... and they will need to beat The Fresh Princes to do so! - The Fresh Princes of Bel Air vs Daley's Swell Winners: A team who has seen the highest of highs and the lowest of lows... Daley's Swell Winners had been anything but lately! Until this week! Looking like the Henry lead Daley of old... a completely well balanced attack behind the 18 points each of McLaurin and Mike Williams (Every player but Burrow and the Defense over 10 points!) was able to propel past The Fresh Princes and end their winning streak. The game was decided on Lamar Jackson's last second scratch and Fresh Princes being unable to swap them. Which is a shame... but trying to overcome the combined seven points from Drake/Uzomah/Higgins would also be impossible this week. Fresh Princes can get back on track against Demented in a pivotal playoff race match. Daley will take their own 6-5 record into a showdown with the Comfywolves. - GYN Comfywolves vs Pumpkin Spice Mafia: The Comfywolves don't wanna talk about it ok? I wouldn't either after only scoring 59 points... It doesn't get much worse... with no Aaron Jones (Hated that guy remember?) the last thing needed was a GOOSE EGG from Carlos Hyde... but it was had. The week started out great with 16 points from NICK FOLK... who would unfortunately be the highest scorer on the team. Pumpkin Spice didn't need to do much this week... but decided to score 132 points anyway. Why yes... they did in fact do that with Courtland Sutton left on the roster and in a bye week! Herbert/Ekeler/Cook/Ertz had some of their best games if not THE best games of their seasons this week. A season saving win for Pumpkin Spice... they sit at 4-7 with work to do. Their boom or bust team attitude which has lead to a lot of points but not a lot of wins yet takes them into a match with The Hurts Business while the Comfywolves have to try and save their season at their own 4-7 against Daley's Swell Winners... - Anal Bleeding Bob vs Sexy Billy: Bob has flown under the radar this season. They aren't a flashy team... they just are a consistent one. That consistency has lead to yet another win against Sexy Billy. A CLOSE game decided by 12 points... A zero spot by the kicker Koo and NEGATIVE TWO points by the Chargers Defense did Billy in. This hurts all the more considering Bob scored 101 points with two players scoring ZERO POINTS. Gainwell was a last minute inactive scratch and Dan Arnold simply did nothing this week for Jacksonville which shocked everyone (I was there last week with Gesicki man I get it). When Justin Jefferson scores 33... it really helps lift a teams shortcomings! Despite 25 from Cousins (Offset by Jefferson) and 21 from CMC... Billy falls to 6-5 and now is in a crucial matchup against Return of the Jazz... while at 7-4... Bob also faces a tough matchup in Groose for pivotal playoff standing. - While only 8 of the 14 teams now only have winning records... 12 teams in the league still have a very realistic shot at the playoffs. Thanksgiving Week will be Feast or Famine for multiple teams in very short player weeks. - Pray for me vs Edge of Insanity please? I'm gonna see Jonathan Taylor in my nightmares I just know it! I'll take Aaron Jones over this!!
