Now, I don't want to alarm anybody... but allegedly, Jacob Fatu has been telling people at The Collective that he got signed to WWE.
So while it's unlikely, there is a non-zero percent chance that the jokes over the last year come true, and Jacob actually does come out and pull the same BS that Solo pulled last year.

Jacob could show up at mania and get counteracted by someone like Cena, while Stone Cold counteracts the Rock

Had to end eventually. Doesn't mean I'm not sad it finally did.
Though thank goodness we're not in a 2011 scenario where the specter of a match nobody wants is hanging over literally everything.

The truck, the 1,316 date, Philly, the 3:16 tweet, all obviously leading up to, erm, the Undertaker.

Cody hitting the super finisher Cross Rhodes successfully after repeatedly failing at it is the payoff.

The truck, the 1,316 date, Philly, the 3:16 tweet, all obviously leading up to, erm, the Undertaker. “Goddamn I’m sitting at the house watching Night 1, Michael Cole’s telling me it’s 14 degrees out there. I’m like goddamn is Mother Nature trying to shoot on old Stone Cold so I said EH-EH! Kept my ass at home.” Also, Austin was such an obvious choice to come out, Taker was actually a fun swerve.

One of the worst reigns I have ever suffered through. The original revamp to heel was cool but it became the same exact thing for X years, and I ended up hating it just as much as every face attempt of him at the top. So excited for an era where Roman can stay home be a family man and not bother my viewing.

I might be on an island here but I’ll miss this run. Reigns as a heel for the last 4 years has been one of the best characters ever in the company, and he’s legitimately a top guy now rather than someone the company wants to push like one. We will look back more fondly at this run than maybe some did at the time. I enjoyed it all the way through, although to be fair I wasn’t a week to week watcher so I never got tired of him like regular fans probably did.

So how do we all look back on this thing? For me it was like. With all the Jinder finish matches and go nowhere stuff, him losing so few of his beatdowns, the absurd length, him being gone for most shows, more filler than a shonen anime padding arcs, some story beats (like Roman never even had a story arc to turn heel he just showed up as a heel in his new character the story didn't even have a beginning blah blah blah stuff I've bitched about forever and probably have driven people crazy here going on about it ...it was like 90% filler with 10% greatness to me. Maybe I'll actually tune in now that it's over lol. But for most people it's gonna be looked at very fondly, they stuck the landing and all that 'Roman sitting in his room brooding about betrayals' tier stuff that went on for years was compelling TV for a lot of people, fully expect it to top many best storyline ever lists.

I thought the run was mostly great and Roman’s heel character is one of the GOATs. I wish he would of won clean more, and that last year kind of sucked but the ends justified the means

Thankful it’s over. It’s still wild to think the guy he beat for it is now dead. The last year has felt like a waste just to get here. Drew & Sami in particular were sacrificed when they easily could have dethroned Roman. I’m glad it’s over though because he won it in the pandemic era and I’m happy to kiss goodbye to that once and for all.
We got loads of good matches out of this no doubt. Can’t deny that.
