This has quite possibly been the best thread since the "Patti Mayonnaise is a Lesbian" thread.

Ash was indeed a dick. Throughout the whole first year of the show he talked about how much of a dick Gary was but by the time they finally battled one another Gary was the mature one and humbled Ash in less than a minute.

Gary also had an entourage of of Cheerleaders that drove him around everywhere while Ash had a horny pack mule and a red headed step child...Check and mate for Gary.

I remember an episode where Giovanni called them and said he was making them in charge of the Team Rocket Blimp Brigade. After he hanged up on them he started talking about how old the blimps were and and that he was hoping for them to crash so he could collect the insurance. I do not recall seeing Giovanni talk to them ever again...So in other wards I'm pretty sure he thinks Jessie, James, Mewoth and the Twerps are all dead by now.

I think that was only in Pokemon: The Live Action Musical. It would be a nice twist in the actual cannon series, but they probably won't go with it.

So in the long term, are we to believe that Ash's mom dropped Giovanni for Mr. Mime???

And another question: Why the hell was Team Rocket after Pickachu to begin with? What exactly were they trying to accomplish? They already have the only Pokemon capable of speaking the human language, right? Meowth was far superior to Pickachu in that aspect.
