I don’t mean like family guy doing an opening bit or playing the music. But a whole episode based on another show and not like some classic show that’s a generation behind.
Besides community?
I mean, it’s kind of weird right? Like “hey this show is great, it’s our competition but let’s honor them”. Or it’s a weird tonal shift because the genres don’t match.
Raising hope, there was an entire episode where the family wanted some occasion recorded in the style of modern family because they loved that show. Right down to the talking heads.
Even weirder is that Leverage, a spy/con drama, did a entire episode where they were spoofing the office. I mean literally, they invaded an office that had a documentary crew following them around so they did the exact same camera cuts and subject interviews where they completely acknowledge the camera.
Scrubs had an episode where they spoofed house after everyone there talked about how much they loved house. It’d be one thing to point out that dr Cox pretty much is the house archetype but they even gave him the limp and the case he solved was literally used in an episode of house as a cutaway joke (client turned orange from too many carrots).

Archer parodying Bob's burgers for part of an episode because Stirling's voice actor also does Bob's voice. (with an amnesia trope thrown in for good measure.)

I loved the episode of Scrubs where they parodied House.
Also, South Park parodying Family Guy and The Simpsons.

I'm sure Animaniacs had many of these moments.

I think this counts:
Murder She Wrote did a "Friends" episode with a murder on the set of the new hit comedy "Buds" with Jessica mentioning her disapproval for the sex-heavy comedy of the show.
The episode's title was "Among Friends"

The Simpsons parodying Married with Children... Ahhh no Peg *flushes toliet to hooting I'd mention Futurama, but Married... With Children wasn't on at the time of that parody. Though Leela playing the Peg role was a nice touch.

If you mean when Community would make fun of Glee, the commentary tracks on the DVDs provided some insights into that. They did that specifically because Glee wasn't their competition, they were getting totally beaten by Glee. So to them, it was funny that they would make fun of them and take shots at them.

not a full on parody, but ER had a character in one episode who had been nicknamed McCreamy, obvious reference to the Grey's Anatomy character, I recall he got that name caught doing an extracurricular activity on his own

When The Animaniacs parodied the Power Rangers.
Even as a kid I thought that was really cringey.

A late series episode of Murder She Wrote had Jessica solve a murder on the set of a sitcom that was pretty much Friends.
This episode was made due to the fact that Friends was airing in the same time slot as Murder...and was pulling in higher ratings.
Edit: Totally missed that post from above.

The Simpsons did an episode 24 Minutes. You could also put in The Springfield Files in there, as well. Both episodes were crossover parodies. I also felt like David Duchovny was having fun in that monologue. He played it straight yet knew that the sequence was a parody.

This was more Simpsons writers responding to John K. and telling him to shutup and go actually finish an episode.... but still. (edit: I did miss the entire episode bit in the OP... it was late! but my point stands >_>)
