You can feel the universal respect for Shelton within wrestling even if he's just there to serve as a gatekeeper for Lashley. Still crazy that he's near 50 because he does NOT look it at all. Honestly, I wouldn't even be surprised if he ends up doing more than that, like I'd have zero surprise if he gets the TNT title off of Garcia, whenever he likely gets it from Perry. That, or winning the ROH world title off of whoever beats Jericho for it. Now all I want is for Shelton to beat Jericho and make me enjoy the ROH Title again. |

On a hot streak with his career renaissance, very good at having matches with damn near anybody he'd realistically face, respected veteran with past ties to ROH to where it wouldn't come across as out of nowhere... yeah, his credentials would be damn near unlimited for this. |
