Well, 13% of the Rams team tested positive for Covid today. Neat. Edit: Apparently the Browns have that beat by putting 8 on Covid reserve today. Their entire practice squad has a chance to suit up in their next game with those kind of numbers. Plus, that's got to just be the start of the fun. Edit #2: Holy crap! Looking into it there are 7 teams that are in enhanced Covid protocols! Amazingly, despite how cavalier the players were being to start preseason, the Colts are not one of those teams and have managed to get a lot of those who were reluctant to get vaccinated after all. Edit #3: Sources are saying 75 players tested positive since yesterday. We’re talking something like 4% of the entire league’s collective active rosters. I think this is gonna be an issue, I always had a feeling there would be days like this. NBA's Chicago Bulls are dealing with an outbreak as well. This is just gonna be the new norm where every season, we get these.

So baker mayfield has now tested positive for Covid-19. You’d wonder at what point the NFL starts to change the game which is on Saturday afternoon US time(9pm Irish time which would be perfect for people in Europe), because they’ve kept the schedule on track so far.

And reports are now coming out of Jacksonville that Urban Meyer physically attacked Josh Lambo while he was there.

Urban Meyers greatest Jaguars coaching highlight turns out to be that cameo he made in Stadium Stampede 2 for AEW.

I’m glad he’s gone just to see Trevor Lawrence and Juice Robinson have a legit coach.

This move might have saved Trevor Lawrence. One of the worst coaching hires in the last decade.

Man Jacksonville you punted away Trevor Lawrence's first season with this Urban disfunction because he was a big sexy college HC name to pair with the supposed 2nd coming of Peyton.
Real question is does this kill Urbans career? Like even if he goes back to the safety of College what kids are gonna want to commit to playing for him now with everything's thats come out about how he ran shop and treated players

He’s done as a coach on any level - and rightfully so

This move might have saved Trevor Lawrence. One of the worst coaching hires in the last decade. Now if they can sign an actual O Line and not another seemingly flashy offensive talent that blows up on them in the preseason, maybe they can save him further

Dumping Meyer is step one. Protecting him is step two and surrounding him with weapons is third. The future just got brighter for Lawrence

That being said if they take the top reciever available, color me unsurprised... Again it's down to free agency and other factors, but they cannot muff this draft like 2021s

My favorite part of this saga:
The Vegas Line on when Meyer was going to get fired/resign/have headaches and leave was set at 14.5 weeks.
Vegas always knows.
