Hey, what's with the tennis racket in the thread title? Grand Slams are typically associated with baseball if we're talking sports.

Cody; “Boss…Jesus…I think you killed Eddie….but we’ll deal with that later. We need to finalize tonight’s show…

The Forbidden Door; “Already done!”

*The Forbidden Door tossed Cody some ball up toilet paper, a couple cocktail napkins, and a folded up brown paper bag with the entire run sheet for Dynamite scrawled on it*

The Forbidden Door; “Mox! Let’s go!! We got shit to do…first of all I wanna talk to Suzuki…”

*Mox, Cody, and a suddenly very alive Eddie scream in horrified unison* “NO!!”

But it’s too late….The Forbidden Door is already skipping down a the hallways toward Suzuki’s locker room…

Mox; “this was so much easier when all I had to worry about with the boss was sneezing in front of him….”

This show has a ton of buzz about it. It will do a monster number in viewers, excited to see the finish of Danielson/Omega because I truly don’t know what to expect. My bet is a time limit draw.

Also very excited to hear about the Rochester card next week! The first show cancelled via the pandemic is FINALLY going to happen. I will be there and am excited to see what they have planned.

Given the Brodie Lee connection (he was going to debut in Rochester) and the current Dark Order dysfunction, I'm definitely thinking that story reaches its climax there.

Guessing I won't be able to watch tonight, mostly because it's raining fairly hard and the power company around here is so wildly incompetent that the power goes out for 12 hours if someone coughs 30 feet away from the pole.

Yeah, seriously, anyone going tonight, mass transit is pretty much the only way to go; bad enough driving to a big Mets game and getting stuck in traffic on the Grand Central, at least Citi Field has a massive parking lot. The tennis complex decidedly does not. My plan is to get on the PATH to 33rd, maybe hang out in Midtown for a bit, then get to Penn Station at MSG to hop the LIRR over, but the 7 line will do the trick, too.

Repeating what I said in the other thread for this show, but if you want to gimme a wave or a quick middle finger, I'll be the guy in a Mets cap and sugar skull Los Ingobernables shirt...and the stupid shorts Kenny wore a few weeks ago. I'll also be up in the nosebleeds, but I did that for the NJPW/ROH show at MSG and it still kicked ass, so I've got no worries on that. Just need to figure out a fun place to hang out before the show, haven't figured that part out yet.

Just love that the last time I saw Danielson live, he was the American Dragon telling his ROH fans farewell over at the Manhattan Center after a goodbye match with Nigel McGuinness. Here we are, all these years later, and I get to see the American Dragon back in the ring, back in New York City, and against Kenny Omega. Shit's crazy, but hey, we're alive for it, aren't we?

Now that I’ve gotten my “SAGA OF A COKE FIEND” post out of the way….

If you’d have told me 2 years ago when AEW launched that in under two years of live weekly TV we’d be getting THE Dream Match, on Free TV, in a stadium in NYC in front of north of (potentially) 20,000 people I’d have asked you to share your drugs with me.
I had faith in this company from the jump…but this would have sounded like lunacy to me.
The lone bright spot in an otherwise shitty week for me.
Tonight…somebody’s getting their f***ing head kicked in.
