Kurt Angle winning the NWA Championship. He did win it in the King Of The Mountain match I believe but it didn’t count because NWA cut ties with TNA.

Sting vs. The Undertaker. Would have been worth it just for the entrances and staredown in the ring.
When this match was rumored for WrestleMania XXVII, I remember some nifty fan-made posters circulating the Web.

"Man, this Daniel Bryan guy is really popular right now with our fans. Maybe we should seriously get behind him and try running him as the biggest star in the company. We'd be crazy not to try."
Also:
"Man, Daniel Bryan is back and he's healthy now. Maybe we should fix the mistakes we made with him earlier and push this guy as hard as possible. He's good enough, everyone still loves him, there's literally no reason not to try."
Also see:
"Man, this CM Punk guy is really popular right now with our fans. Maybe we should seriously get behind him and try running him as the biggest star in the company. We'd be crazy not to try."

A huge underdog winner of the Royal Rumble. Santino in 2011 would’ve been perfect.
Santino wins in flukey fashion, and people start talking about how it’s a disgrace someone like Santino won and the Mania title match is gonna be a blowout. Over the next few weeks we have Santino in some Rocky style training segments played for laughs in the build to Mania.
In the match itself Santino gives a spirited underdog performance before ultimately coming up short.

John Cena ending Kurt Angle's career at Wrestlemania.
It writes itself. Have Kurt call out anyone in the locker room, Cena accepts and barely beats Angle with a surprise pinning counter. Then you have Angle make the "this close" gesture with hands. They embrace , credits roll, yada yada yada.

A proper Hogan/Bret match on PPV where Bret goes over.

Undertaker Vs Cena at wm many years earlier back when the streak was still in tact and 'Taker could still go.
Could have been the greatest night in the history of our sport.

Austin vs Bret for the WWF title at Wrestlemania 14.
The feud finally gets its ending, and Bret gets to properly pass the torch to Steve Austin.
Plus, the match itself would have kicked total ass.

Sting is treated with respect in WWE and adds some highlights to his career in his last run as an active wrestler.
Vader gets a monster heel push in WWF and recovers the mystique Hogan stole from him in WCW.
Bret Hart has a great run in WCW that makes Vince regret Montreal.
Rick Rude never got injured and eclipses Flair as the top heel of the mid 90's in WCW.
Power and Glory beat LOD at WM7 and get a couple years as one of the preeminent tag teams in WWF.

In the match itself Santino gives a spirited underdog performance before ultimately coming up short. Came here to say this. I'd alter it slightly: You do the Rocky stuff, but not as much for laughs. He does a sitdown with Cole or whoever and says something along the lines of "I hear it. People call me a joke, but while they've laughed, I've won a few titles along the way. At Wrestlemania, no matter the outcome, I promise that people won't laugh at me when it's over" He gives the effort of his life but *just* falls short. You give him credibility and more importantly, you give credibility to the idea that truly anyone can win the Rumble

I wish that at a Saturday Night's Main Event or even one of the televised House Shows we could've gotten The Mega Powers vs The Brain Busters.
