Think you're under valuing the presence of of veteran hand with guys that are still learning. Yeah, like, regardless of what you think of the guy, there was a reason WWE hired him back and put him in the role he was. Out of people on the open market, he knows how to work a TV style and pace himself, he's worked with a variety of workers and still has a bit in the tank to help out certain young talents and stars. There's very few people like that around who'd be willing to try something like that who isn't already signed to either WWE, AEW or TNA right now. One of the things I've always said is you can't have enough locker room experience for people to go to. A Shelton can be as useful as an Arn Anderson or a Scott Garland in terms of picking their brain for advice because of their back catalogue and longevity in the industry. EDIT: Like, along with other things, I'm sort of shocked we hadn't heard anything about him being offered a trainer/agent role by WWE before he was fired because those are the sort of people who should be doing those jobs if they aren't going to wrestle consistently.

Honest question, was he doing anything worthwhile in his second WWE run? Because all I remember was how bad he was in ROH and New Japan over 10 years ago. He was part of the Hurt Business for a while, but he himself did not really do anything of note or have any standout moments/matches. I'm on the fence for this then. 05 Sheldon? f*** yeah! If he's anything like he was in ROH/New Japan? f*** no! Maybe he'll prove me wrong, but I'm not interested lol

I think Shelton would be fine as a veteran presence backstage who could occasionally work matches. I really doubt he'd be given a big singles push or anything.

I support signing Shelton if they use him well but I do not support signing Shelton if they do not use him well. I support Tony giving Shelton six figures just to sit at home (I also support him giving Shelton six figures to wrestle, but if Tony wants to just give someone money just because, that's great too). Get that bag, Shelton.

I have no idea how Benjamin would be as a coach or an agent. Just because someone can wrestle well themselves doesn't mean they're an effective coach so that's for people with better knowledge of Benjamin to decide than me. If he's good in that role, then go for it.
But in the ring he's always been the epitome of good wrestler but that's it to me. I've never found him particularly engaging, even during the Team Angle days.

If he's not willing to do that or that interested, you already have a Scott Garland whose been an agent, a head coach and a talent who was on the WWE roster for years and that's before you get to people like Chris Hero, Sarah Stock or Jerry Lynn.

I support signing Shelton if they use him well but I do not support signing Shelton if they do not use him well. Will they also sign his Momma? This is important for negotiations

Can't speak to what he'd be like as an agent or a coach, or whether he'd be worth replacing who they already have in house. As a TV presence though, any reps he gets would be better served on someone else. It's not like he's ever been over or is even a particularly great wrestler these days compared to modern standards. You'd get more mileage out of a vet who's a character guy (eg. Elias) who can come in, pop a flagging crowd at a taping and put people over. Think you're under valuing the presence of of veteran hand with guys that are still learning. Could be. Equally you could be overrating it. Without any knowledge behind the scenes it's impossible to make much of a judgement either way. Based on what we can see, it's hard to really pinpoint what he could do that at least half a dozen other people already there can't do better. But equally I'm not campaigning against him, so good luck to him.

Look, I'm a simple man, I just want Archer and Shelton to bring in Suzuki for a mini-reunion run with the six man belts.

So Ospreay was on TIJ and said that WWE's offer was less money for a tougher schedule

I would definitely do that, not the least of which reason being that the 6-man division could really use a jolt. Like, being honest, I am getting kind of bored of the Acclaimed holding them.

So Ospreay was on TIJ and said that WWE's offer was less money for a tougher schedule The tougher schedule thing doesn’t surprise me cause the WWE would want him to probably move to the US. He gets a part time schedule and still lives in the UK. His reasoning makes sense, he doesn’t want to move to the US cause of his stepson. Good for him for putting family first.

Motor City Machine Guns free agents soon. Could be a decent pick up for AEW tag division? Feel like they could do the Hardy's role but better

I think we will be seeing Motor City Machine Guns joining soon.
With them seemingly leaving TNA and their friendship with the bucks and Okada I can only see them going one place.

Tag division could use some established vets who aren’t broken down and MCMG fit the bill. If it leads to a MCMG/EVP Bucks feud that is just icing on the cake.
