Just starting episode 2. Still trying to come to terms with the incredible opening credits My wife didnt like it. That plus her causing us to be homeless at the end of this month has me seriously considering divorcing her.

Currently on episode two...much better humour than part one.
The term "Capes*it" is now canon to the DCEU.

The WhatsApp joke was hilarious, and that has absolutely happened to me. Really gotta follow up on your photo settings on that.

I'm loving it so far. Cena is perfect in this role. Also, I now want my own eagle sidekick.

I love that her causing you to be homeless seems secondary to her not liking the opening credits of a tv show. Also, I personally like the credits but would have liked them more if people weren't raving about them and they caught me off guard.

Binged the first 3 episodes and it was great. This is coming from someone who thinks superhero stuff is lame.
People will always tell me "This comic book movie is different. Even if you're not into comic books, you'll like this movie". And they're always wrong.
Peacemaker is the first time, that was actually true.
I kind of hate the trend where movies/shows will try and do the Tarantino thing where they have random conversations about pop culture, but in Peacemaker it actually works.
Also the scene where they're in the woods shooting guns and blowing shit up, had me dieing laughing.

I just finished the third episode last night. This is so goddamn hilarious. Let's just take time to appreciate the fact that they spent money on a cgi eagle when it would have been easier to just not have it. lol

Time to shut down all the studios' future projects. That is the greatest 90 seconds of television ever filmed.

James Gunn knows how to balance insane humor with the emotional moments. You actually are invested in the characters, and care about them. There's a reason he's basically been given full creative control in his most recent films/show.

Look a story that is dark and violent but is not afraid to have some color and sunlight in it. And not filmed with a filter that makes everything look like shit. Edit. Anyone else surprised by Vigilante? {Spoiler}{SPOILER: CLICK TO SHOW}I thought he would be a loser who was just good with guns. But he is a badass.

There's a reason he's basically been given full creative control in his most recent films/show. 100% this. In four episodes he's turned Peacemaker from a complete douchebag into a tragic hero and it's felt completely earned. Also, kudos to Cena, who's absolutely nailed everything he's been asked to do. That "House of Pain" sequence hit hard.

As someone who used to read a lot of DC comics, I had zero interest in Vigilante but this version has been a blast. I would love if he's put in the next Suicide Squad.

Been really enjoying this. Peacemaker and Vigilante’s friendship is surprisingly compelling. You want these two psychopathic killers to get their shit together and succeed.
