I’m looking forward to Buddy Matthews. I know he was a guy everyone wanted in AEW the moment he got released. I haven’t followed him too closely on the Indy/Japan scene, so I don’t know if there is still a big buzz for him anymore. But he’d be perfect for The House of Black.

That’s probably better for him and the company, to be honest. He can ease into whatever role he may have at his own pace and show his stuff there without there being the expectation of him needing to be pushed higher on the card.

So Buddy was the guy who appeared behind Malakai in the vignette, right?

So Buddy was the guy who appeared behind Malakai in the vignette, right? The red beard definitely indicated yes

WWE just fired Carlos Cabrera who was the voice for the latinos(he was what JR was to the american audience), AEW needs to bring him imo, specially how their spanish commentary is still bad.

Sounds like Shane Strickland will be there soon enough.

If Jeff is coming in.... can we get the Broken universe back going? Probably not... but it would really be the only thing I'm interested with them at this point.

Buddy is all but certain to be the mystery man Brody King and Malakai Black were waiting on.

With the hints Shane's been dropping on Twitter, I'd be very surprised if he wasn't already signed.

Am I the only person who doesn't want to see Jeff Hardy in AEW? Like, at all?

Am I the only person who doesn't want to see Jeff Hardy in AEW? Like, at all? I have no interest in it beyond Private Party beating the Hardys being a nice passing of the torch match on paper.

If they use Jeff like they use other legends, I'd be okay with it. I'm not exactly enthusiastic about it, but maybe he can surprise me. I'd even buy the Hardys having a short "thank you" reign with the tag-team championships so they can add it to their legacy, and be the only team to hold the unified WWE, Raw, Smackdown, TNA, ROH, and AEW tag-team championships.

Yeah, I don't have a massive attachment to the Hardy Boys as a team (no fault of theirs, I just wasn't watching much WWF during their prime), but I'm cool with the two of them getting to have the kind of farewell tour they've probably always wanted after all the insanity they've lived and worked through over the years. Have it end with them putting Mark and Isiah over and it'd all be a really nice story and likely a great crowd reaction. Meantime, though, I'm just sitting here all nervous and jumpy every time there's a hint of a debut coming because I'm hoping we get to Danielson just bringing in Samoa Joe to help him achieve his vision for AEW because damnitall I want those two working together again.

With the hints Shane's been dropping on Twitter, I'd be very surprised if he wasn't already signed. Shane in terms of a business aspect and expanding AEW's horizons in that field might not be a bad idea Shane as an on screen character? Hell no, unless things are drastically changed about him.

Oh I meant Strickland (aka Isiah "Swerve" Scott), not McMahon. Should've qualified that.
