We did that already. Let's not do that again. Yeahhhh but it's not the same... And anyway it's been displaced by That Song from Deadpool 2.

Curious to see who Alyson Court will voice in this, given she's previously stated that she would gladly return to the early 90s X-Men series if the role of Jubilee was given to an Asian actress instead of herself. Kitty Pryde maybe? Looks like she's sticking to that.

So it is continuing where the original left off...with Magneto running the X-men and xavier off having space sex with lilandra. So it's New Mutants?

Waits for people to complain about (adult themes)/(FAN banned themes) being in the new series, never mind this is for people who have aged 30 years or so since. The others real concerns: some bad meta foreshadowing and referencing. Jubilee has a nightmare/vision of a sci-fi movie series getting prequels in a few years. Or an entire arc of Y2K bug and bunkers.

So it's not impossible for the mto ignore that... as long as they have decent writers.

I'm not gonna lie, I'd be down where in this universe it turns out the threat of the Y2k bug is real and it like has something to do with Master Mold.

You live in the world where the Y2k bug was real and a serious threat. Not to the hysteria of the time was hyping it to be... but it would still have wreaked havoc on a lot of sectors. It wasn't a big deal because there were people working overtime on the problem to fix it before the deadline happened.

'There's a Jubilee centred story arc! This is an outrage! She wasn't the most important character in the series 30 years ago therefore we straight white males are being erased because she's a girl and non white!' Now Storm is the leader?! Never mind that she WAS in the comics. Bring back Mohawk Storm.

Now Storm is the leader?! Never mind that she WAS in the comics. Wasn't she only hte leader of the X-men Gold team In Uncanny X-Men 201, Storm beat Cyclops for the right to lead the X-Men. It was a way to get Cyclops to see that he wasn’t in the right head space to lead the team. It was later revealed that Madelyne Pryor psychically manipulated Cylcops to lose so he’d spend more time with her instead of focusing on the team.

I remember when I Was reading them again in the 90's Scott was back to being the leader... though then they split off into gold and blue teams. to sell more comics for important reasons I'm sure...

Scott’s always going to be the defacto leader, but Storm’s pretty much been seen as an alternate leader of the X-Men since the mid 80’s.

Yeah, she was always one of the higher ranked members and again on with the two team thing she was one of the team leaders there too

That is casting quite the large net because while Storm is powerful and is one known mutant with Omega Level potential she aint so powerful that most would only last 30 seconds with her. IceMan for example easily puts her down.
