Honestly, I can definitely buy some his allegations as being true. Dones't stop him potentially being a shit himself. "DeMayo alleges that Marvel’s PR department listed “homosexuality as a hot button issue to avoid alongside school shootings, the Gaza conflict and abortion.”" I mean, this is the same Disney who made sure the first gay kiss in Star Wars was a blink and you'll miss it moment that they can easily remove from the Middle Eastern market... yet they still gave themselves a a massive pat on the back for it as if they had done something groundbreaking when Buffy had gay kisses like 20 years before... Disney treating employees like garbage, colour me shocked. It's very... scattershot. There's stuff about executives, which yeah I can buy a LOT of that. Then there's also stuff about various artists Doesn't address anything about his own alleged behaviour, comes off very "it's not me, it's everybody else". |

I can believe some of these things happened, like I can believe that Marvel/Disney placed limits on how frank issues like abortion or the like could be tackled, that tracks, but this one? Zero chance this happened, none. This is the same guy who intentionally deployed culture warrior shit onto Witcher's staff after he got fired, lying and claiming none of them were fans to rile up these types. DeMayo is asolutely doing that again here, and that's frankly some Quisling shit from my perspective as another queer person in geek spaces, trying to pull the pin on that kind of grenade to sic chuds on people. |

I don't buy that story at all, nor do I buy the story they told us that "A woman on the MCU writing team broke down in tears and demanded we kill Black Widow instead of Hawkeye" BS either.

He is just taking a page out of Snyders book and trying to weaponize the incels. Problem is that only works once. Warner lost a fortune when they caved into them. As since he is not a white cis hetero male he should ask Gina Carano how appealing to incels works out. They loved her vs Disney but then slammed her first post Disney movie for being woke garbage.

I want him in the MCU so we can get that Hulk/Onslaught scene in live action. Let Onslaught taunt Hulk and piss him off so bad that OG Hulk comes out to play. |
