For the first time in 13 years, Britney can actually live her life as an adult.

Good she shouldn't be forced to work cause an outside person says she needs to make more money. I think that was kinda the big thing with this one right?

It's weird how big this story became versus how long it took for her to actually be free. It's not just the red tape, but the glaring flaws in our justice system. Something that should have taken a month took 20 months, trending hashtags countless time, numerous documentaries, protests, hundreds of makeshift private investigators, and an almost non-stop spotlight to get somewhere substantial. That's a farce. Especially as it pertains to freedom, justice deferred is justice denied.

Yeah, you're right. If she wasn't famous, she'd have been taken advantage of for the rest of her life or until the money dried up.

So happy for her. She's still gonna have work to do on herself, as one naturally would, but I hope everything works out for the best and she gets to live the life that she wants.

Her loneliness was killing me. But I must confess, I still believed.

I hope she cuts off every single Spears socially and financially for their rest of their lives I dunno what role her sister played in things, but I don't think she's going to have anything to do with her parents and probably her brother ever again.

I haven't really followed the story so please forgive my ignorance... but perhaps this is beside the point... But wasn't all of this very necessary when it was put into place during her K-Fed and head shaving saga? Like yes she should have her freedom now, but does her father really deserve to be vilified? Or was he taking advantage and pocketing money this whole time?

Which is why it has been so hard to end it as most of the time the person dies making it moot. Spears father knew what he was doing and this was simply his way of regaining control of his moneymaker. If the concern was actually over her mental health there were far less severe ways to go about helping her.

If the concern was actually over her mental health there were far less severe ways to go about helping her. Britney also accused her mother of being the mastermind behind the idea because, in her own words, her father was too stupid to come up with the idea on her own.
It was never about her mental health (as you said, there are a lot less severe and far more beneficial ways of addressing that), and all about controlling her financial and personal life. It made her a virtual slave of her parents and their co-conspirators.

Most likely. But even if they were accurate she could have placed her in a more temporary arrangement while getting help. Instead they put her in one that BY DESIGN is difficult if not impossible to dissolve. Where she has no control over her career, money, medical decisions, relationships. Where she can be forced to work against her will and if she protests and stops then it simply makes her slavers look correct on controlling her.
