Have kids been given any reason to care about GIJoe in decades? Legit question as I don't know. The action figures&comics are pretty much for adults who grew up with it yes? None of the movies have been aimed at kids really; in fact I think they'd be pretty bored by em since they wouldn't know the characters and such. If it's dying in any sense, it seems like that'd be why. Those of us who grew up with it are middle aged or getting there. You could argue the same thing about most of the rebooted 80s toy/comic franchises. My Little Pony and Ninja Turtles (maybe Teen Titans Go since thats mostly based off the 80s team) are the exceptions. Which ones in particular? I know Transformers, but it's had movies that quality or lack of aside kids could like. He-man stuff has at least had cartoons and such right---there was that one around 2002 etc.

I'm one of those middle aged Joe fans. It doesn't matter to me in the least bit that kids don't care about it. It also doesn't bother me that the franchise is "dying". Kids have plenty of entertainment. Some stuff should end if it doesn't have a fanbase anymore. Its cool that kids still like TMNT and Transformers and Star Wars and stuff, but let them have their own shit. They don't need shitty reboots of our generation's stuff shoved down their throats constantly.
