Back before we had luxuries like streaming and what have you.
During the Monday Night Wars I never really had to commit to a side because TNT would always do an encore showing of Nitro. It would end at something like 2 or 3 in the morning where I lived. I’d generally just slap a 6 hour VHS in and tape it. Since my VCR programming functionality most likely died sometime in the 1980s that meant I’d also end up recording whatever crap TNT put on before the Nitro encore but I digress.

I used to stay up late for Indycar races as a teen (1am starts for us Brits). No chance I could do that now in my early 30s

I used to stay up late for Indycar races as a teen (1am starts for us Brits). No chance I could do that now in my early 30s used to see them on channel 5, also the baseball too yeah wrestling is the start of of late night eye drooping ... when the old WWF hour long show came on in the UK it was of course late night, then it suddenly changed to NWA/WCW, and started recorded them to watch next day! now of course being the sensible teen at the time, sometimes i would NOT set my video to record, but to actually stay up and watch it ... and most times i wouldn't fall asleep ... but i did once, during a title match with ric flair and hot shot eddie gilbert!!! i was taping it so i saw the ending ... first time i think was watching the 1986 world cup, mostly to see if england would blow it as usual ... bloody lineker after that i stayed up to see wee comet abuser GIOTTO and three in the morning going WOW at the pictures ...

Banzai, Jackass, Adam and Joe. For a teenager in the early 2000s, late night Channel 4 was where it was at, full of television you thought you probably shouldn't be watching and wanted to watch it more for that reason.
I also still stay up late for England cricket tours to countries in Asia or the Antipodes.

As a kid I would try to stay up for the old Saturday Night's Main Events.
In my early college days my night time schedule would be watching Late Night with Conan O'Brien at 12:30AM, then switching over to The Daily Show (originally with Craig Kilborn, later with John Stewart) for their 1:30AM replay. On Saturday nights it would ECW on MSG as 1AM (or was it 2AM?).
During my final year in college it was Adult Swim on Sunday nights. Screw Futurama and Family Guy, I was there for Home Movies and Mission Hill.

Porn, mainly soft-core. When I was young there was a 24-hour movie channel that would run Playboy Channel shows after 1 AM on Friday nights. I remember seeing the Playboy Bunny Olympics (or something), where Bunnies in loose tank tops and short shorts competed in silly sports.
Yes, this was before the Internet. I am that old.

Uhhhh....since we're sharing, E!'s Wild On was this for me. Also stayed up for the Nitro replay sometimes. God, I miss those days. Kinda wish AEW would replay Dynamite around the same time.

Raw Power/Noisy Mothers, early '90s heavy metal programme. Perfect for the after-club wind down on a Friday.

Shotgun aired on Saturday night right after Svengoolie in the Chicagoland region on WCIU. I loved marathoning that and then Shotgun to end the night, but I kept falling asleep during Shotgun. It got to the point where I began setting my VCR to record it so I could watch it and Superstars on Sunday morning. I'm kind of glad I did, because a decade later I went back and watched a few of those VHS tapes to be treated to a few quality Goldust/Owen matches and early Hardy Boyz jobber stuff.
