The Addams Family premiered in theatres. Still one of the strongest adaptations of a classic TV show ever done. Not to mention its even better sequel.

Note to Rob Zombie: THIS is how you grim up a '60s monsters sitcom and still make it highly entertaining and funny.
(Yes, I know...the movie Addamses were probably closer to Charles Addams' original comics...)

We danced the mamushka while Nero fiddled, we danced the mamushka at Waterloo. We danced the mamushka for Jack the Ripper, and now, Fester Addams, this manushka is... for you!

It gave us Addams Groove, one of the biggest abominations ever recorded. You watch your mouth. That was recorded in Prince's Paisley Park studios. Have you listened recently? It's aged incredibly well.

It's aged incredibly well. I heard it a couple of weeks ago. It was shite then and it’s shite now. We get repeats of old Top of the Pops shows and over the last few months we’ve had shows from 1990 and 91, which was the best part of (MC) Hammer’s career. It’s apparent that other than U Can’t Touch This, he really was gash.

I'm not in the right mindset to defend Hammer's vast range and bountiful discography at the moment, but rest assured I will return to this thread and reassert what a bountiful cornucopia he gave the world of music.
