Jem, which we all learned the hard way. Eh, I might have to disagree with you on that one. In no way am I defending the 2015 film, but after watching it sometime last year, I found myself disliking it less than before. That doesn't mean that I like the film. However, if done right, it's possible that it could work. The problem with the Jem film was that it had little in common with the source material. Sure, I could see what they were trying to do with some of the characters, but none of it worked. Plus, it took away all of the elements from the show. I am sure that if they were implemented, it could have worked. But no, we had some video clips of Chris Pratt, The Rock, some people on Instagram, some weird elements with Google Earth, etc., along with a typical story involving a girl who was trying to find her voice and express herself, which didn't feel like the Jerrica Benton from the series. Hell, the comics have all of the elements done right, even with it set in more modern times.
