I had a plan, which was to go into Tubi and find sitcom episodes I have not seen with holiday episodes.
Last night I started Dobie Gillis....I saw the first season episode, so jumped to S2...the one which borrows from A Christmas Carol when Dobie dreams about his debate whether to go to Chatsworth's Christmas party, or Maynard's.
(man did the show change in a season...more regulars as Dobie's classmates, no more Thalia Meninger and no more super violent Mr. Gillis, for instance)
EDIT: I actually remember this episode! Back when we had Urban America TV, they aired Dobie weekday evenings. I did remember Maynard inviting the cat in and talking to it.

Watched Jingle All the Way over the weekend. Home Alone, Christmas Vacation and Nightmare Before Christmas are the only "Must See Pre-Christmas Movies" I have left on the yearly list. A Christmas Story is basically automatic Christmas Eve watching because I'll flip it on while I cook and prep the house for Christmas Day.
If I want to see more Christmas I'll add Muppets Christmas Carol, The Santa Clause and Bad Santa to the list occasionally.

I watched all the Home Alone movies when the new one came out. 3-6 arent awful but theyre missing things that made the first two classics.

There will be at least one watching of A Christmas Story. Might go to a movie theater and see something if it piques my interest.

Christmas Day/Eve always means a marathon of the original Star Wars trilogy. This goes back to when I was in high school and USA Network used to air them.

I’ve got to find a way to steam The Vicar of Dibley Christmas specials
It may only be on Britbox
They are WONDERFUL
Only knock on that series for me is some pop culture references I don’t get either because they are dated or because I’m not British (not sure which applies)

The beauty of having Disney Plus is being able to have some of my Christmas standards on there to view, they being
Mickey’s Once Upon A Christmas Mickey’s Twice Upon A Christmas Mickey’s Christmas Carol Home Alone Home Alone 2 Nightmare Before Christmas Muppets Christmas Carol
I’ll also watch The Snowman, The Snowman and the SnowDog, Father Christmas, the Frosty the Snowman shorts and the original How The Grinch Stole Christmas at some point in the next 2 weeks

I have home Alone on the DVR, the Muppet Christmas movie and some other stuff I'm blanking on right now. Also plan on watching Shazam, since that definitely counts as a Christmas movie

Is anybody watching the Yule Log? I really want to watch this year, but I'm afraid of accidentally reading spoilers online.

Probably only my fellow countrymen will get this but I always end up stumbling on The Snowman by pure accident and watching to the end.

Usually I go with Batman Returns, OG Miracle on 34th, Christmas Vacation, Die Hard (sorry Bruce), Rise of the Guardians, Muppet Christmas, Lethal Weapon, Nightmare Before Christmas, Year Without A Santa Claus, Garfield Christmas, Jingle All The Way, Home Alone 1, Pinky & The Brain Christmas (the end will mess you up, Rob Paulsen and Maruice LaMarche’s acting is too good), Mickey’s Once/Twice/Christmas Carol, and Jingle Jangle is my newcomer.
