seems like a pretty lazy list this year... and I kinda guarantee those aren't nearly the most unhealthiest meals in america...

Yeah, but they can’t just have a slideshow of the KFC menu. That’s no fun. Really though I was kind of surprised how bad the Olive Garden stuff was. Olive Garden: When You’re Here You Get Diabetes

FOH the pollo loco tostada salad is alright.
The Southpaw vids made me legit buy Georgia gold for a while but it really did leave you feeling sloggy. No bueno.
That Dunkin’ Donuts one is stealthy terrible for you.
How dare they put In n Out on the list (go with PS)
I’m surprised how many of these I’ve had.

Olive Garden: When You’re Here You Get Diabetes my main point was even I'm pretty sure that even non fast food joints have worse stuff than some of this stuff... also odd to put a blooming onion on the list considering it's not a "meal" but an appetizer meant for splitting multiple ways >_>

About that...this is from 2018, and it repeats an item from Chili's. Still, can you imagine that shit that looks terrible for you is... terrible for you?! Gasp!

Not read it yet… can I guess the Bloomin’ Onion from Outback Steakhouse is in there… i often hear about how incredibly unhealthy that thing is.

Yeah, some of this stuff is not surprising at all, like any burger with more than one patty, and I also think putting a Blooming Onion in there is a bit clickbaity considering it's an appetizer.
But when the salads make the list, that's always shocking because you know they are being marketed towards being a "healthy" alternative.

A tuna sandwich and many pasta dishes. WTF are they doing? "Have our healthy tuna and salad roll! It comes with a jar of sugar!"

My favorite tavern a couple miles away serves a fried pork tenderloin so large you can get it with 4 buns, and the buns still aren't even close to touching. If you order it with cheese it comes with 8 slices.

Lemme tell you, that KFC Georgia Gold chicken is legendary, as is the IHOP Farmhouse. And I’m kinda surprised nothing from Long John Silver’s got listed, they’re tasty but I know they pack tons of trans fat.

The IHOP Farmhouse though? That just looks like a feast of decent breakfast stuff. I wouldn’t mind trying that one. It’d have to be like the only thing I ate for one day. Maybe two.

The thing with restaurants is how they get you not to think about just *how* unhealthy their food is, all while setting things up in a way that kind of coaxes you into ordering multiple courses of food.
Like, yes, obviously a double burger, or a deep dish pizza, or something smothered in cheese and ranch dressing is going to be unhealthy, there's nothing revelatory about that, but what can be eye-opening to people is how a given place's menu is almost entirely like that, where even the "healthier" options tend to do very little to make things better given the excess amounts of salt and sugar they pour into basically everything they prepare.
At bare minimum, the arrival of calorie counts on a lot of restaurant menus has been the ultimate blessing and curse, for me at least: blessing in that I appreciate the knowledge concerning what I might consider ordering, and curse because, well, I wanna eat some of that garbage, damnit, and now I'm too painfully aware of just how bad it is! Doesn't always stop me from making bad choices, mind, but it at least raises my awareness, which is what the industry wants you to decidedly *not* have when you go out to eat.
I do tend to order more from/dine out at local places when I go out, and given I'm in a city that at least ups my options for places that use fresher ingredients and maybe a few less heaps of extra salt or sugar, but that can still do some real damage, of course.
