Im legit curious if they knew he had limited time and thats why this was being promoted as the final shows, his song Christian left the tour and didnt give a reason why just that there is no bad blood or anything.
Mike is one of my all time favorite singer/songwriters, this one stings. At the end of my sets I would usually end with a cover and often it would be Circle Sky as that one is one of my all time favorite songs.
farewell Mike, thanks for all the wonderful music and thanks for MTV!

His influence on pop music's relationship with television was immeasurable, but as much as anything Nez was just such a gifted, underrated songwriter and musician. I always loved the Monkees but as I grew older I also grew to understand just how good and what a special talent he was.

I was trying to convince my dad to come with me to see Mike on his last UK tour. My dad died before I could convince him.
I am very sad that Mike has passed away. But it has helped me a bit about my dad, at least, to know that now he won't be missing that show again.
If you are a fan of country music, Mike has at least six albums of absolute gold standard shit you should check out.
