How did he miss that Huntress is a cross between Carol Danvers and Catwoman? Did he just get hung on the name or something? It's right there lol. Linkara has proven again and again he knows a small era of comic stuff and outside that he doesn'tknow that much. LIke AVGN. If it is after the 16 bit era James doesnt know much about it. Linkara is a 90s comic boom till early 2000s era. |

The outfit is pretty much all Huntress... Yeah, it’s a super weird combination considering, but I also wouldn’t know what to mesh together with Carol considering where she and Huntress were in the 90s in terms of knowable characters. And now I have a weird Harley Quinn/Captain Marvel mashup in my head and thanks, I didn’t need to sleep tonight, brain. |

Also I should point out that any Catwoman look in the Darkclaw was entirely because it was the Artist for Catwoman... but itw asn't Catwoman...
because I forgot not only was she Madame Cat... she was also mixed in with Elektra for ASSASSINS!

Linkara concludes another series with issue 8 of The Star Wars -
Really glad this is not what made it into theaters. It had promise at times, but for the most part the story just seemed overly long and tedious.
Next week Linkara continues another series as we get the next issue of Godzilla: Kingdom of Monsters.

If that version is what made it to theaters, while it may have been a modest success, I don't see it becoming a major franchise nor kicking off the big late 70s/early 80s sci-fi boom.

It does absolutely feel like the definition of a first draft, trying to get all your ideas in with as many characters and plots as possible before someone comes in and gives you a checklist a mile long of stuff to get rid of or change. I appreciate the fact it became a comic, though. Even if it’s not great, I think things like that are cool things to adapt without much risk. |

Next time he returns to The Ring for the start of his yearly Halloween reviews. Let's see if he can stay on schedule this year.
