I took a side job in a liquor store. For some reason today the evening manager decided to put that movie on the big tv at the front of the store. Thankfully it was during the last hour of my shift, but what a horrible hour it was! I am fresh out of a long hot shower to wash the feeling of filth off and am drowning my sorrows in White Claw.

Oh, you poor soul. I hated that movie when it first came out. I haven't seen it since.

White Claw is the Ready to Rumble of alcohol. I eat low carb. It’s about my only option.

Oh, you poor soul. I hated that movie when it first came out. I haven't seen it since. It's aged like a fine milk.

it didnt eve get a dvd release in the uk, it's rarely ever on a streaming service over here.
it's like time and space have worked together to remove that film from existence here, and i'm not sure how to feel about it

I've got three words for you, 911! Could have used some chokeslams for people involved. As a sidenote, I had a celebrity encounter with R2R ties. As I finally met Caroline Rhea at Christmas Con New Jersey this weekend. Wanted to do so for 20+ years as I've been a big fan since watching Hollywood Squares. (she was also part of a Sabrina panel, and of course that show has wrestling ties too, as Billy Gunn and Kevin Nash were guest stars. Sadly we talked more game shows than wrestling...)

One of my favourite movies, and I mean that sincerely, and without a shred of irony.
I get the hate for it, honestly, but I love it!

It's a bad movie and poor representation of wrestling, but it's also such a snap shot of that time in wrestling that I have some affection for it on that front.
I am sort of surprised that I've never seen a spot like the one near the beginning, when Jimmy King's put out of commission, where someone is hit from aerial moves from all four turnbuckles. I assume because it'd A. probably be unnecessarily dangerous, and B. that'd be really difficult to do in a 20x20 foot ring. You could maybe do it in an 18x18 ring like WCW used, but even that's likely pushing it unless the person rolled around selling or was moved after each move. Maybe 16x16, though I think those are pretty uncommon due to being considered too small.

I think I got this from Hollywood Video. I stopped watching after the convenience store skit where David puts his finger in his butt and wants the refund on the Slurpee.

Body Slam has more unintended comedy, I just stick with that.
