Sal Bandini, wanna wrestle? He was easily the best character in the movie, and I enjoyed Joe Pantoliano as Titus Sinclair. Personally, I found the movie stupid, but not in a bad way. Stupid doesn't always mean unfunny, and this movie was funny at times. I had fun with it. |

I had heard for years how horrible this movie was. Then a few years back it was streaming for free on VUDU so I watched it. Not nearly as bad as people make it out to be.
Made me laugh more times than that over-rated crapshow Freesh Prince did.

it didnt eve get a dvd release in the uk, it's rarely ever on a streaming service over here. it's like time and space have worked together to remove that film from existence here, and i'm not sure how to feel about it I'm sure I have the VHS of it stashed away somewhere, I'll have to find it out after I watch the Slammiversary 2021 VHS that arrived today |

Body Slam has more unintended comedy, I just stick with that. I LOVED Body Slam back in the day. It was always on HBO in the late '80s. I think I burned my HBO copy onto DVD...has a WCWSN episode after it (when Terry Funk brings out the Ric Flair imposter) and a Challenge ep. (the one where the Rockers piss off the Rougeaus by debuting their entrance theme with lyrics...which we never hear again after that angle, pretty much.) |

One of my favourite movies, and I mean that sincerely, and without a shred of irony. I get the hate for it, honestly, but I love it! While not one of my favorite movies I do enjoy the movie. Is it dumb? Sure but to me it's like a lot of comedies that came out then just with wrestlers. |
