Why do they go for live action reset Instead of just continuing the popular thing they’re trying to milk us for?
Studios: Hey you like Avatar? We’re gonna try again with the live action thing!
Me: Wouldn’t it be cheaper to just animated it? There is a built in story people want to see Animated. It did end with “where my mom?” From Zuko and the story was already written for that graphic novel.
Me: you know what I loved wished they made more of? The tick! Studios: that’s a great idea. It’s smart weird comedy to appealed to a lot of adults. So let’s make it live action with Patrick Warburton. And then again on Amazon.
I think the upcoming X-Men 97 is the only throwback/revival show I’ve seen where they actually pick up where they left off from an older version of the franchise. Maybe animaniacs and the upcoming tiny toons count but they were anthology comedic skits, so I don’t know if that counts.
Anime is just a mess in general. I think the only ones that I’ve enjoyed was the Kenshin series because it’s basically just a samurai movie (and made in Japan for the Japanese), and the gto drama which also make sense since it’s about a young teacher

I liked the live action Tick with Patrick warburton. Also yeah the suit cost alot but before digital animation ink and paint was super expensive if it was gonna be above Hanna Barbara quality.

"Please give us money to continue a cartoon series."
"No."
"What if we use real people?"
"...fine."

I think animation is generally considered kids stuff. No one sees it making a billion dollars unless its a Disney Property and as we all know everything has to be a billion dollar franchise.
