10. Sasha Banks - Smackdown 9. Carlito - Royal Rumble 8. Zelina Vega - Smackdown 7. Jimmy Uso - Smackdown 6. Edge - Smackdown 5. Goldberg - Raw 4. Demon Balor - Smackdown 3. John Cena - MITB 2. Becky Lynch - Summerslam 1. Brock Lesnar - Summerslam
Brock and Becky are current main event acts on weekly TV so it makes sense they'd rather highlight them but Cena not being number one here is criminal. That might have been the loudest WWE pop of the decade.

Can't argue with the top 3 at all, it's just a matter of which order you'd put them in. Cena's return was the largest pop I've heard in like 10 years, so I'd probably put his at 1.

I get why it wasn’t there but Christian coming back in the Rumble was a pretty feel good moment considering everything that happened with him and he made such a strong impression that keeps me wondering why he wasn’t given a contract the moment he went to Gorilla position.
It likely wouldn’t go near the Top 10 but it’d be there instead of Carlito, certainly.
EDIT: And I just remembered Cole’s commentary. Blech.

With all the releases should do a top 10 of abrupt last appearances.

Victoria showed up at the Rumble and she was out of WWE longer than anyone else on this list.

Even sillier Cena is not No. 1 since the thumbnail for this video is literally Cena's appearance. Forget that, the opening of the video has Cena's return. So, like, they hype it up and give it to the guy who wasn't away as long? I’m guessing putting the biggest star in the thumbnail gets the most views. If they put like Carlito as the thumbnail this exact same video probably gets hundreds of thousands less views. And Lesnar was somehow away for longer than Cena, albeit only by a month. Both last appeared in April 2020 then returned July/August 2021. I forgot at first that Lesnar wasn’t at this years Wrestlemania. In my mind it didn’t feel like it had been over a year since we saw him.

Oh, I get that, it's less the idea of putting someone else there and just giving him the number one ranking. Like, Brock was always going to come back since his entire purpose of being is to be the only person who can't be fired and make all the money. Cena pretty much missed WrestleMania because he was filming his big streaming show in a place that isn't exactly easy to leave with the COVID restrictions imposed and had a movie coming out when he came back (which they didn't promote and also didn't book him as much considering that because even with Cena, this company has weird logic with this stuff). Also, these lists don't really matter so you might as well had done it.

What did Cole say? “And speaking of Edge, here comes his pal” Which is the best thing to start with for someone who hasn’t wrestled for you in six years. Like, they sort of got back on track but considering before was “It’s…Christian”, it’s not a great record for returns.
