I saw the Smackdown thread was only 16 pages. Raw has it's issues too.
So which show is in rougher shape?

Raw is easily the worse show, even though there isn't much for me to like about SD.

Smackdown, mainly due to the threads usually (and rightfully) bemoaning Roman going over 99.9% of the time.

Honestly, NXT. They tore down its entire identity, booked the show around telling you how much what they were doing before sucked and needed to go, and replaced it with something that looks like a particularly bad Nickelodeon game show and tries to fit a month worth of content into every show, also turning its heavily praised women's division entirely into LOLBOOBS.

They are both really bad in different ways. I don't watch either but going by reading results I would say Raw because of the two it's more frustrating in that they seem to do more stupid stuff that makes absolutely no sense from a wrestling story telling stand point. Like everything you shouldn't do they do they do it.
Smackdown just comes across like an incredibly boring show where nothing interesting really ever happens and with matches and feuds that have been done a million times over the last six years. Just look at the current pictures of all the divisions. Brock against Roman for the main belt, Usos and New Day for the tag belts, and they are clearly pivoting towards Charlotte and Sasha in the women's division after the former dispatches Toni Storm. All of those were top programs in 2015-16. Unless you are brand new fan to the product I don't get why anyone would want to see of those or have interest in watching any of them?

Recently SD. The Roman and Charlotte pushes suffocates so many other talents.. And the non-Roman stories feel so phoned in.
And the pacing is so awful that a two hour show DRAGS so much.
Plus it has the Naomi/Sonya feud, and Corbin/Moss. Those alone would make it worse than Raw.

Smackdown has awful pacing and feels every bit as long as RAW despite being shorter.

Smackdown is fantastic. I think if it was on a different night it would get a lot more traction on the board.
Raw was dire for a while but is pretty good now. 3 hours is just too long for any weekly show, so it drags at times.

I might just go get hammered at my cousin’s Christmas Party. Next week’s SD just looks so dull.

I'm sad watching RAW because of what it was. I'm sad watching Smackdown because of what it is.

I think if SD didn’t have Roman and Charlotte dominating nearly every week, the reception wouldn’t be so harsh.

It also has weeks where it has an absurdly small amount of wrestling and that's why I tune in to wrestling shows. I also feel like SmackDown is not designed to be watched live. There's so much downtime and video packages and recaps that I might like it more if I watched it on DVR.

RAW for all of its faults is watchable ... for the most part
the last few months I've often wondered why am I watching Smackdown
..... farmer Brock came back on the episode where I decided if nothing happens, I'm giving up it for a while again

You mean you don't want to sit around and watch the commercials on the screen with the wrestler standing there for 15 to 30 minutes while recaps and backstage segments go on?

It's pretty dire if it's 50-50 dead on so far.
So I guess the WWE brand is just sad as a whole.

They’re all way more enjoyable on DVR.
