I'm enjoying his gimmick of being the guy who just can't pull off the most simple, trite expectations of him. Debut match? Lost. Tried to turn on his tag partner? Kyle saw it coming and kicked his ass. Doing a jobber squash? Managed to lose clean. It's wonderful.

I can't believe they had Kyle put him over on the way out only to have him get a fluke loss just a few weeks later.

It’s the Robert Stone effect. Literally anyone that guy hangs around for more than one segment turns into Duane Gill.

He should be a comedy act. Often fouling up the simplist of tasks.

Puts the kid over on his way out and then they have him lsoe the next week in an enhancement match supposedly FOR HIM. Robert Stone is really like the kiss of death isn't he? It seems like anyone who is associated with him just immediately turns into an incompetent loser and eventually released. Chelsea Green, Frankie Monet, now Von Wagner. I remember they did the exact same thing with Chelsea that they did with Von tonight where after she took on Stone as her manager and had weeks of hype leading to her debut and then in her where it looked it was going to be an easy enhancement win against Kayden Carter instead got rolled up and pinned in a few minutes. Pretty much killer her immediately.

I really thought this was a thread about some old tweets or some backstage shit that happened.

I really thought this was a thread about some old tweets or some backstage shit that happened. That's the problem, he fxxxed that up too. One s**t-post tweet was about refusing to used pre-sliced bread. A dirt sheet also reported that Von Wagon Wheels attempted to start a fight with Finn Balor, by insulting Finn's "local sports team". Yes, he said "local sports team".

So, I'm guessing "so easy a caveman can do it" does not aply to Von Wagner?

I seriously don’t know if I’ve ever been less impressed by a guy. Yeah, there’s lots of people I don’t like, but will admit their talent … I can’t even do that with Von.
He’s kind of big. That’s legitimately it.

If they really want to make this heel look like an idiot, then they should book him against an enhancement talent, knock him out, cover him for a 2 count only for him to get up because he claims a fan is getting on his case, get up and challenge him, only for his opponent to roll him up for the win.

I can't believe they had Kyle put him over on the way out only to have him get a fluke loss just a few weeks later. It’s just a really strange decision considering. And it’s not even the first time they did something like that, Cena was adamant to put over Nakamura in one of his only appearances before he left for a while and they dropped the ball with it. And Cena wasn’t even leaving like Kyle was.

That’s legitimately it. He’s just so remarkably average. Yeah, there have been way worse wrestlers in the ring, and almost certainly worse promos, but this is someone that is apparently… What, is he gonna be their top heel in 2022? Does Vince McMahon see “Breakker v Wagner” on a marquee and his eyes become dollar signs like in a cartoon?

Does Vince McMahon see “Breakker v Wagner” on a marquee and his eyes become dollar signs like in a cartoon? After how they used him last night I really wouldn't be surprised if he's released around mid year. I know there were reports of Vince being high on him and maybe he was but at the same time they wouldn't have someone they apparently see as a future Wrestlemania main eventer get rolled up and pinned in a minute by a job guy. They had him take out O'Reilly but that was only because O'Relly didn't resign and Von was who he was associated with at the time so it made sense. Apparently he's been under contract for like five years so it wouldn't surprise me if this was kind of a sink or swim type deal where they gave him three months to impress and he didn't so now they are done with him. As far as who they see as the future stars of the new crop of guys it's clearly Breakker, Waller, Hayes, and to a lesser extent D'Angelo. Basically all the guys on the 2.0. team at Wargames.

I've always wanted to see a gimmick where the dude always beats Midcard wrestlers but always loses to jobbers. Basically the thing you see often in sports where certain teams will play to the level of their opponent. When you play down, you go too far down. When you play up, you surpass.
