If Summerslam is in July this year, I think the Rumble should be moved to February. 6 weeks before mania. That way we have clear cut opponents at mania instead of having a clusterf*** before hand.

I'd say move the women's to February. Two in one night is just exhausting.

Nah leave it in January. It like that whole "start of the Road to Wrestlemania" thing they do. It's a great introduction.
If it's not there then hell, I don't know what you put in January. It's supposed to get you hyped at the beginning of the year especially with how drowning the start is.

OK, I know I'm probably a bit weird for a wrestling fan but the Rumble PPV is the one wrestling night of the year I'm not exhausted. Excited up to the moment, then sad when its all over, yes. But then if they just announced a random 50 man rumble on RAW, everyone else would groan and I'd be going "I love wrestling again!" Can't have enough battle royals, me, and this proves even with everyone using the same Miz Battle Royal Finish about 5 times a year.

September to January is the WWE dead zone. Taking the Rumble out of January just extends that by a month, I think that is a mistake.

I also like having two rumbles in one night as long as there is a break in between. Having two rumbles makes the card stacked.

With 2 title matches, 2 Rumbles, the 2 womens belts and usually some sort of big opener (Edge/Miz blowoff to make room for Edge/AJ at Mania? An Usos/Vikings/New Day triple threat?) its probably the only PPV that can even half way live up to the old "every match a main event anywhere in the country" meme. ("Got to hurry to get to the show tonight, the main event is Hercules v Billy Jack Haynes!")

If anything, I could see the Rumble being pushed a week in the future. The Super Bowl is pushed a week, and traditionally the Rumble is the week between the playoffs and the Super Bowl. This year I believe the RR is on Saturday and the playoff championships are on Sunday. In the future if RR is back to Sundays then they could push it to the week of the Pro Bowl.
