There was Darby DDTing himself on the floor a few weeks ago, then tonight there was that ugly MJF landing where FTR catching him is probably the only thing that kept him from cracking his skull on the barricade. Feels like people should try to rein it in before something goes wrong.

Sting’s head landed right between MJF’s nuts too.

I don't have too many major complaints about AEW, but risky and dangerous spots remain my biggest gripe.
That MJF bump was about two inches away from disaster.

I certainly think they can reduce the amount of dives and high spots they do.

Yeah I hate this, it's too terrifying afterwards to enjoy a match when I'm like "OK Trent just spiked his head on concrete I really can't do Orange shenanigans right now"
They could really fix a lot of it by just being safer about where they're jumping / having guys that aren't jumpers do jumpy things diving towards concrete.

It's interesting because Sting throwing MJF was a perfectly safe outside spot even in comparison to most of thhe high spots they do. MJF just overshot it. Luckily nothing went wrong, but yeah just shows just how perfect you gotta be in wrestling sometimes.

Garrison dive on Malakai also looked a bit dangerous.

Can I just say I think I'd trust FTR with my life at this point? They saved Aerostar from disaster twice in a single match and made sure MJF landed without injury when he overshot
Those guys are just really good at making sure a high spot doesn't end badly.

I'd honestly be fine with dives being cut down in general. The risk is high, the spectacle is a little old, the storytelling around them is often wonky, and they often mess with the pace of a match. Would not mind a stricter dive quota per show.

It's interesting because I feel like the people who should be diving, do and it never feels out of place, but they definitely should have more guys who just don't dive, like MJF and FTR and such, really the entire pinnacle, Cash is the only one who ever really does anything on the top rope...

Don't forget Archer hasn't been seen since he landed on his head.
