I feel like they are only doing this arc because they found a couple of things Booker T did during it really funny. This arc has not grabbed me at all, maybe I continued with the arc out of habit or hoping it gets better, I was even talking to a friend online last night while I had it on and said "when you suddenly realise you haven't been paying attention for the last half hour" is telling Seems like that's how they pick things, find a hook, something they think will be funny.. then don't do any research into if it's worth doing. They thought they'd get lots of Bockwinkel, Bruce Hart when nothing. When you think about it, they've been going so long, how many shows are genuinely funny after this many years? Takes a special skill and dedication to keep going that long and not have a drop off in quality.

Their thing is that they're 3 Irish blokes riffing and comenting on shows they've watched. Not every show is going to give you a lot of material. The biggest problem with this arc is the lack of boy-worthy moments/characters aside from Roxxi. No overarching bollix if you will. Thus, it feels more barebones than their grade A stuff.

This arc ain't doing it. The Recent 1995 shows were much better because the source material was better.

That's what I mean, even riffing, maybe check there's stuff you can riff on, especially if youre tying yourself to it for months.

I really hope the sponsor for the ad break questionarium for the lockdown ep paid them a ton because Holy shit that was unbearably annoying.

Why am I not surprised Dixie doesn't understand that Dusty was making fun of her ideas...
edit: and I got to the Ad-break thing I didn't think anything was bad... then his terrible Scott Steiner 'impression' and yikes... I can't imagine anyone wanting to check his stuff out afterwards...

I'm only halfway through this episode before I have to go back to work and I have to say I already feel like it's their best episode since the All In episode.
I don't understand the VTuber thing in general *at all* but I didn't think this was that bad?

The first part when he was just the bartender was fine... but his really poor Scott Steiner impersonation I found grating.

they need to ditch Boys Stable and the ABQ. ABQ has always been instant skip but i'd take every wobbly, shit, badly placed tattoo ever made and a review of Phantasio with it to not be exposed to V Tubers, Larry Guru and that Muscles prick that yells.

Having finished the episode I think this was comfortably the best one on the TNA arc so far. Fun throughout. Fewer fat jokes. Albeit not none. And I say that as a huge Foley mark when they bury him a lot at the end.

Wait, that's Takahata101 on the ABQ. From TFS, He's KNOWN for his impressions, how is his Steiner so bad?
Anyway, I thought it was a good show, shame they're not doing Slammiversary as that's the only show I've seen live. Do love their retrospectives the most, feel like that's one of their strong points when you go deep into a subject, especially the Suicide one.

Caught up on this arc. I died laughing at "The Predator....Vince McMahon" and the clip they showed afterwards of him calling himself a rapist. That was some grade A work there.

It looks like we're in the home stretch with Victory Road (Might be TNA's worst ever PPV) and Bound for Glory 2009 to finish it up. I think they realized midway through the arc that it's been brutal and stopped with the Brucie Bonus shows that are part of the arc. I do hope the next arc is better and something a bit in the past. I'm still hoping for something like a Vader in 1993 Arc or maybe a Batista arc from Summerslam 2004 to Mania 21.

I know Jay has said he doesn’t want to touch Survivor Series 97, but I’d love for them to do what I call “The Fall & Rise of Stone Cold Steve Austin”. They start at Summerslam when he gets injured, maybe do Badd Blood when he screws Owen, then Survivor Series when he wins the title back. After that the DX PPV would be fun, his Rumble win is also an entertaining PPV, No Way Out (of Texas) with main event Savio Vega, and then his title win at Mania 14. There’d be a lot of other bollocks to cover (gang warfare, Kane’s debut, TAFKA Goldust, mini matches, plus others) and I think it’d just be an interesting arc for them.
