I know Jay has said he doesn’t want to touch Survivor Series 97, but I’d love for them to do what I call “The Fall & Rise of Stone Cold Steve Austin”. They start at Summerslam when he gets injured, maybe do Badd Blood when he screws Owen, then Survivor Series when he wins the title back. After that the DX PPV would be fun, his Rumble win is also an entertaining PPV, No Way Out (of Texas) with main event Savio Vega, and then his title win at Mania 14. There’d be a lot of other bollocks to cover (gang warfare, Kane’s debut, TAFKA Goldust, mini matches, plus others) and I think it’d just be an interesting arc for them. I’d like to see an even longer run to that, basically the Bret Hart heel run and the rise of Austin. Start it at the 97 Rumble and do every show until WM14. There’s some great stuff there with DX, Taker, Kane, Foley etc. and as you said, plenty of bollocks like Rockabilly, New Blackjacks and Ahmed Johnson to have fun with. It would be a really long period to cover and would run for ages but it could be awesome. There’s also the invasion storyline that’s a little bit shorter and it’s also a subject that’s been done to death but I’d still like to see their take on it. Or maybe even the early days of the nWo if they want to go back to WCW.

With stuff like that, it's more where do you start, you could go back to Royal Rumble 1997 to start off the double turn, or back to Survivor Series 1996 to show the evolution from their first match, or King of the Ring 1996 for Austin 3.16. Everything evolved so naturally where you draw the starting line is almost arbitrary.

Just watched the first half of their WM40 review. Disappointed by the lack of Maffew.

Just watched the first half of their WM40 review. Disappointed by the lack of Maffew. All the other characters should be asking "where's Poochie Maffew??"

Becky mentions Steve (V.1) and how she crushed on him in her book. I knew they hung out, but didn't know how close they used to be.

I like Matt McMuscles but he was pretty useless here honestly.

The XL episode was pretty good. They're just... always better with the fed. They know more about it, and they care more about it, and it's painfully obvious.
I don't even feel like they're less funny now - although some of the stuff I used to find funny that they say I no longer do, like the fat jokes - but they don't... seem to tell jokes as often.
This was vastly better than most of these TNA arc episodes, but this was still disappointing. I can't believe how little material they got out of Jenna Morasca compared to, say, the blindfold match.

I can't believe how little material they got out of Jenna Morasca compared to, say, the blindfold match. That is easy to explain: the Jenna Morasca/Sharmell match was just a bad match between two badly trained wrestlers. The blindfold match was a disastrous double gimmick match where everything went wrong between two trained professionals trying to get something good out of it. It's like watching, I don't know, Superbabies 2 and The Room. One is just a really bad boring movie. The other is car wreck on top of another car wreck surrounded by an explosion.

There's also nothing to the personalities involved either. Sharmell was in WCW, married Booker, Jenna is random reality show person. There aren't loads of crazy stories, they're just mostly normal boring people.
