I know it is just a small time Canadian cartoon, I hope someday before enough of the old cast and crew The Raccoons reunion. We already lost some of the prominent cast. I know is Cyril and / or Bert's actor passed away.
Love to see a con organize a cast and crew reunion. Obviously you need Kevin Gillis, also the music composers, as well as many of the cast you can get. Also bonus if you get different actors that play the same role, like the two Melissa's (3 if you count the specials, though I don't expect Rita Coolerage to be part of this)or the 2 Bentleys, that would be cool. Also if you get Sharon Lewis and Lisa Longheed, maybe Gillis could write an original scene of them reading a fictional scene of Sophia and Lisa actually meeting.
I wonder if that has ever happened, if it did probably in Canada. I know there was a Sailor Moon DIC cast reunion, so one can hope.

I'd love it. Only, like you said, there's a lot of people who are now gone. Len Carlson of course, and Michael Magee, as you noted. Nick Nichols, the original Pig #1, is gone too. As is Marvin Goldhar, the series Cedric Sneer.
But on the other hand, there are a lot who are still with us too. Bob Dermer, Carl Banas, and Susan Roman, amongst the principles. Jon Stroll is a notable music composer and my friend has talked to him in the past. I wonder where Luba and Steve Lunt are these days.
Shoot, TARA STRONG can technically be part of said reunion.
Longshots: Rich Little, and a lot of the surviving musical guests in the specials. I do know John Schneider is on social media (yeah, polarizing social media if you read it, but that's a discussion for outside of FAN) but he has yet to answer my attempts to ask about if he remembered The Raccoons.
(Trivia: I got a signed 8 x 10 from Susan. I've email talked to Kevin Gillis too. And I know where Linda Feige is...only I talked a bit to her husband and not her...yet.)

Shoot, TARA STRONG can technically be part of said reunion. Funny you mention that. I found this site that you can create you own fantasy reboot cartoons, this person did one for The Raccoons and had a cast list. And they cast Tara as Julie. Whoever posted this, first of all having the human characters on the show okay interesting choice, but I am pretty sure they didn't know Tara was one the actual show, granted one episode but still. Never thought I would have a reason to share that story, but yup. Anyway if they did they a reunion panel, and if it is in Canada, let me get my passport ready, I am going north.

Much of the original Sailor Moon cast is in their 40s or 50s with still very active voiceover career and were regularly doing conventions until recently.
I always love hearing Kevin talk about the show, but I simply don't see how you can do a reunion for The Raccoons without Bert and Cyril, the two most iconic characters by far.
I also really hope he can get his reboot off the ground some day. One of my colleagues was writing for it almost 4 years ago, but that version seems to be totally scrapped and probably never even got far enough to cast any actors.

I did reach out to a company that does semiregular cons/flea markets in Wayne, NJ.
They have had VAs in the past (the guy who did Gambit, the current voice of Tony the Tiger), sooooo....

Can you divulge anything from said script? I wonder if Len or Michael have any relatives who could stand in for them, perhaps remember stories from their work?

I guess it's because I'm not Canadian, but I didn't even know The Raccoons existed until I saw people marking out over the theme song playing over the closing credits of Hobo With A Shotgun.
