One of the better numbers they've done recently in 18-49 (highest since September 24th):

They went head to head vs the Colts vs Cardinals and did their best demo in a while

Wow that demo number is really impressive...
Considering that was in Christmas Night? Viewership went down a tick but I was honestly expecting closer to the 400K range. And that demo again, real impressive.
I'd REALLY discuss the timeslot of this show with TNT in the future if I'm Tony. I feel like putting it at 9 even helps pay dividends for that demo number. They went up against NFL Football and didn't even flinch.

Given the main issue is is the Turner sports schedule, I'd say it's worth considering giving Rampage a rotating schedule depending on the time of year. No reason you can't put it on Thursday at 8 or 9 during the summer when the time slot is open. Your audience is loyal enough that as long as the schedule is predictable, they will tune in.

And the card featured only 1 veteran which was Cody, the rest of the card was filled with all young talent under 30.

Just said it in the Smackdown ratings thread, but the only factor I can think of that kept both shows numbers pretty steady was Christmas being on a weekend this year, though I couldn't tell you exactly what kind of difference that would really make as I'm just spitballing possible reasons.
That said, Rampage seeing an uptick in demo numbers while going against a NFL matchup between two legitimate playoff contenders? Damn, I would've never predicted that.

I wonder if the lead-in of A Christmas Story helped. Airing it all day is still a popular event.

The median viewer age was 43 years old which is the lowest since the Punk debut episode.

For all the talk about Guevara's reign being bad, I think he popped a rating for every defense he had, same for despite the internet's rage at Cody, he always pops the rating as well Shocked Hook was the low point of the show. How dare you Hookers let him down??

Shows how much the Death Slot hurts them, IMO, on top of it being an impressive holiday rating. That demo number is nearly on par with the average Dynamite.
