Yet, hated by all the characters.
She is street smart, witty, honest, sarcastic without being mean, a great and loyal friend to DJ and keeps coming back despite how she is abused verbally by the 3 gay dads of the Tanner household. She is far too good for all these shitty people.
Maybe she becomes worthy of the abuse beyond season 3, but I will never know, as life is too damn short for more Shitfull House.
What are some other characters on TV that does not deserve their status as hated by the other characters?

She was hot then....she is hot now.
Despised by the three dads, but loved by yours truly.

Her mom used to be a pro wrestler, so she had that going for her. I still can’t believe she passed up the chance to attend WrestleMania VI in Pittsburgh, though. Hogan vs. Warrior at Three Rivers Stadium? I would’ve killed to see that.

Hogan vs. Warrior at Three Rivers Stadium? I would’ve killed to see that. I'm shocked Hogan hasn't adopted this into his narrative of wrestling history yet. As for the OP, well... Queen Debra (McMichael) from WCW ca. 1996-97. Got a lot of X-Pac Heat back in the day on the IWC, when I understood that her character was supposed to be annoying. And I'll take this incarnation over the princess of the puppies from the WWF/E any day. Scrappy-Doo. We've gone on in other threads why this was overblown. Yes I didn't like the 1980-82 comedy skits format, but it did not kill the franchise. I think Sue Heck can be this to some people, but come on now. EDIT: Is this about in-universe annoying characters? Not just annoying-to-fans? Okay...Sue counts. I guess Scrappy because eventually he became the butt monkey on actual Scooby-Doo shows and movies. How about ORKO? Works on both levels too. He bothers Man-At-Arms with his botched magic tricks and such. But he has heart and is there for his friends. As a big example, he helped Adam get back on his feet after the events of The Problem With Power, showing him that he really didn't kill anybody. Some times I even LIKE his comedy! (This counts for the Filmation version. THe MYP Orko WAS grating) Another person who was meant to be grating on the show and was to fans: Ana Lucia from Lost. I actually did like her.

Throw in the Wonder Twins, I actually liked them. People make fun of Zan's powers, but he couldnt just turn into water or ice, he could also turn into steam, which could be incredibly effective.

The Gibbler and Tanner relationship should've been like the Matthews and Shawn relationship on Boy Meets World. The father KNEW that Shawn was the best thing to ever happen to Cory and he would do anything for Shawn, like he was his own son.
Danny should've seen the same thing about Kimmy to DJ.

Thank you. Though it depends again on what OP meant....characters the viewers found annoying? Or characters other characters found annoying? The Superfriends weren't annoyed by the Wonder Twins. Maybe they would play the "It's too dangerous! You should keep watch at the Hall of Justice" card, but other than that.

Remember that one Royal Rumble when the most vile, hated and heavily booed villain of the night was Rey Mysterio and his only crime was coming out at 30 and not being Daniel Bryan?
I watched that show live with a big Rey fan and even she hated him that night.
As for more traditional TV.... Al Borland put up with so much nasty shit from Tim, and I think he really only deserved it like once. Dude was a model co-worker and a good friend. Nope, treated like shit most of the time.

They didn't hate Kimmy Gibler.
She was like Urkel. She was the annoying neighbor, but if they hated her they would have called the police instead of just letting her wander into the house whenever she wanted.

Her feet smelled. That's the only running gag I remember that could even justify the hate.

Like, even Kramer is mildly annoying to the others on Seinfeld, particularly Jerry since he eats his food and invites himself in, but they are just resigned to it. With Kimmy, she's obnoxious in so far as she's totally oblivious to how rude she's being, but outside of comments that aren't too serious, they tolerate her for DJ's sake.

Danny said she was always part of the family in Fuller House, granted it was years after the original show but he still said it

If it's based on character hate/apathy to another character...how about Beaker?
Mistreated and underappreciated by Bunsen on a regular basis, but we can all agree that he's awesome :-)

My husband and I met Al and Heidi!! They were hilarious. I asked if he ever got bullied at bingo, and he said he didn't want to talk about it. 🤣 every time we passed them, they said hi to us.
