Surely the first of many Retribution members to make their way to AEW. What’s Reprisal doing in the Elite Zone!?

Mercedes would be so good for a TBS title run at some point; have Ruby be the inaugural champ, but have Martinez be the one to beat her and let her work with a whole slate of younger wrestlers, let her be a heel who can also play semi-tweener because she's pretty much a badass who knows how good she is and isn't afraid demonstrate, etc.
But even if she's largely there to be a sort of player-coach, she'll have tons of value for the roster. Was pretty bummed when she didn't sign with the company immediately after being there so early on, and bummed to see how her chance at the main roster in WWE went, but glad that she's made her way back.

Last night in general was a step in the right direction, women's division wise. This signing solidified it.

Last night in general was a step in the right direction, women's division wise. This signing solidified it. Yeah, I meant to add that all the women's division feuds they highlighted last night made me hope again that whenever Turner gets another AEW show going that one of them could be an hour long all-women show. That wouldn't mean not having women's matches on the other shows, but AEW's women's division is starting to beef up to the point that it'd be great to see more outlets for things like a women's tag division, more women's stables, etc., that would need that extra time to be properly showcased. I had thought WWE should've done something like that once they were changing what NXT was going to be, but since they made all their cuts it's now AEW that seems to have the large enough roster to make such a show potentially work.
