The announcers does this every, single pinfall attempt to the point where there is no doubt when someone kicks out. Which again makes the actual 3 count easy to call 90% percent of the time. The moment Excalibur (though all the announcers do it) raises the pitch in his voice during pin attempts I can go "nope" and never be wrong.
Am I alone in finding this frustrating as hell? What, are they all Vince 'one, two, thrrrrr.....no' McMahon fans?

The way commentary treats pins usually is in tandem with the way the live audience treats them. If the audience buys into a nearfall, it's almost always fitting for the announcer to do as well. I just don't like that so many moves lead to nearfalls (they have to cause they look like instant death) and that Excalibur sounds like he's burping when he raises his voice.

Yeah I dislike this too, Excalibur and Tony are both guilty of massively over selling near falls from moves that are never going to end the match

This is a problem across the industry. Every single company does it.

The problem is that there's way too many near-falls in general.

It's really obvious when you notice it.
For example, when they say something like
"FOR THE TITLE!" or "THIS COULD BE IT", you know theres a kickout coming.
But if they go quiet and calm, usually it's the end of the match.
I wish they'd stop this.

Yeah. This is a problem across the industry
I find Michael Cole even more annoying with that

This is a problem across the industry. Every single company does it. Yeah, not to be the dick who says, "Welcome to wrestling", but I think virtually everyone does this. I don't really mind it much either way.

I can’t think of a single promotion that isn’t guilty of this trope
