No wonder that match was really bad, and cant imagine how worse wouldve been if it was a Blood and Guts match.
That sounds like such a mess. Maybe don’t try to book a match with someone who is “clear but shaky.”

This right here explains why the women division was a damn clusterfk for a while, and btw I liked that she put over Abadon.

I feel like she did but, taking it out on Rosa was where she may have gone wrong. Yeah she claimed Rosa was sucking it up to management, thing is that with Swole there are 3 people who didnt like facing the extras/enhacement talent (Ivelisse as previously mentioned and then Shanna which was also reported she disliked working with them)
Yeah that's not... great company to be part of considering both of those women were let go for being assholes.

We all noticed, the fandom's enough of an insular echo chamber for the concerns to be brushed off, now it's festered long enough people from inside are starting to say it. They need to get their shit together. It's a stacked roster in terms of talent, but unless you're from the right clique your ceiling is putting over people from those cliques. I got that from everything she said, from half a phrase, you could came up with the most reaching takes possible.

The part about Swole's daughter watching WWE instead because they have people she relates to brings up one of my negatives in the It's been 3 years. Thoughts on AEW? thread. I said they aren't doing enough to cater to demos outside 19 - 49 males, which the majority are white. Often when I look at the audience at Dynamite, I rarely see women or people of colour. Don't think I've seen much kids either.

Nothing she said there is wrong and it’s criticism lot of folks have about AEW. I think the reason people don’t like talking about is because AEW is the first real threat to WWE in 20 years. There’s a subconscious fear that any criticism or any giving of ground can become some sort of existential threat to the company and we’ll be right back to the monopoly. I think this is a really good summation of why the backlash to criticism can be so strong here. Outside of a few bad faith trolls though I don’t think there is anyone who voices these criticisms and wants the company to fail. AEW, for my money, is a very good product, but it can be even better with more attention to the women and more diversity at the top. That’s why those issues come up the most because they are the easiest to change. I hope Swole coming out about some of her issues helps remedy those ongoing issues.

Abadon is another one fo those cases that they seemed to hold on to,but unsure on how they were going to actually use her, which there were too many in the division. But her especially wasnt just throw out there a lot.

And shoutout to Big Swole for saying what needs to be said about what's truly going on in that company. We've said they've had diversity issues and it's a problem. We've said their women's division was trashy trash. This is really the first time someone from there's breaking down the details as to what's really going on negatively so now anytime someone brings up a problem well hey, we've got this for reference. They've got problems just like other companies have problems but now we can see what those problems are and we can hopefully start more of a discourse so they can address it.
She's trending too so yeah, this is gonna get some press. Much needed because the quicker more people see what we've been seeing and saying since Day 1 the quicker TK will act because we've seen TK sees what people are saying and acts when needed.
TK might be good but we know he's all about the money because he's a businessman. He said in an interview this week he changed his plans because Bryan was coming into the company, he did that because it's a good business move. Let's talk about these issues and bring it to his attention. At the end of the day it'll be good for business to get this fixed.

For all of the potential negatives we've seen and for most of the people we see and know about in that company, most of them generally seen like genuinely good people. Big Swole included. The more people who want a company to be better, the more people who will work towards a company being better, well the better the company will be. I assume its the one where the reporter asked about his use of the woman in AEW and he cut her off and went into a tangent of how he paid for the NWA Womens show and was never thanked for it. (for what matter he later apologised )

The AEW higher ups need to read Hiroshi Tanahashi’s series interviews on New Japan’s website entitled “Aces High.” In it, he talked about how a big part of how he thought getting NJPW out of the rut they were in under Inoki was to cater more towards women and children. That’s why he changed his style to look cooler to them. It worked and AEW could learn a lot there

Big Swole's always been really honest, and I respect that about her. They really do need to do better about angles for the women, consistent ones, and continue to work on the diversity.
If she's, as some people are saying, calling Brandi not genuine, I'm admittedly rolling my eyes, but I think that's probably not what she was saying. Swole is way too intelligent and knowledgeable to not know what code switching is, for instance. I think it's, if anything, probably more that they sometimes will throw money at the problem with more hires, but not do what they could and should be doing with those hires, and still calling it a problem solved. That'd be my guess.

Been saying this shit for a good min about lack of diversity and good to see a wrestler calling them out on it without no malice or BS
Hopefully, people take note in her words and don't come up with excuses
