So the attitude era is regarded as the best era in wwe history. But it certainly has is cons as well as it’s pros.
Pros:
-Great, entertaining stories for the most part -pushing new stars and utilizing them to the best of their abilities -having two megastars at the same time
Cons: -too many big time matches were done to death on Smackdown or Raw (even if they did end up dqs) -too many world title matches (kind of devalues it)
Some things I would of booked differently:
-Rock and Austin win the tag titles at some point -Having a Eddie vs Jericho Ppv fued

Pro: Using the midcard too.
Con: De-emphasizing of in ring action (though, given now, there could be a balance) Obviously stories and characters that don't age well now Any other corny Russo-like stories or characters.

Living through the Attitude Era... I remember thinking EVERYTHING was a big deal. That was the big plus to me. Looking back, it wasn't all great, obviously... but it still felt like from the bottom of the card to the top, it was a big deal. You can't say that now and it's sad, IMO.

Pro: They listened to their audience. If someone was getting cheered who was expected to be booed, or vice versa, or if an act was getting over better than expected, they often went with it. It was the only time Vince ever really consistently did this. By 2001-2002, with WCW out of the way, he was back to resisting the fans more often than not.
Cons: Storylines took a big nosedive in late '98/early '99 with all the Corporation/Ministry crap before recovering in 2000, and pretty much everything DX has aged horribly.

It was incredible a time but even back then I hated how the women were treated and felt bad for them, thankfully the business has evolved since then and womens wrestling has become a vital part of WWE even with its current issues.

It was a great time for guys like Godfather, Al Snow and Rikishi who struggled so many years with crappy gimmicks never getting over and they were at their biggest height of fame and money then.

I still love the Attitude Era. Not many cons from me at all other than Linda McMahon should of have taken acting lessons before being on TV.

Kane & X-Pac was still the greatest tag team of the Attitude Era.
Followed by Too Cool.

I still think Kane should have switched to a green version of his costume if only for one night.
Sure it would have looked silly, but X-Pac was already silly on his own.
