I did my first one today - a mockumentary. It was "Fear of a Black Hat."

I did my first one today - a mockumentary. It was "Fear of a Black Hat." How was it? I've heard conflicting things about it I have always liked that movie for as long as I can remember. I watched that movie when I was a child and enjoyed it back then. As a hip-hop head, I can see who and what was parodied. It's like the rap version of "This is Spinal Tap."

I watched two movies with the same title: First Daughter (2004) First Daughter (1999 TV movie)
It was either these or The Substitute (1993 TV movie) and The Substitute (1996). I could still do them on my own volition, though.

Today's challenge will be a challenge in and of itself, because I am having a hard time deciding on which one to watch. It's a movie directed by a woman and there are plenty. I may even do multiple ones.

Today, my pick was Punisher: War Zone, which was directed by a woman. It was directed by Lexi Alexander.

My pick could have applied to last week's challenge, but since the director also co-wrote the script for the film, I suppose it counts. My pick for this week's challenge was Boys Don't Cry, as Kimberly Peirce was one of the writers for the film. It was either this or Juno, but I had told myself to watch Boys Don't Cry.

I wonder if it's cheating on how for a few films that I did that I had watched before. I guess I should have looked closely at the guidelines.
I am also wondering about making up for the challenges that I had missed.
