Is it just me or is every Britt match in recent months really slow? She seems to live in half speed in recent months. It's super noticeable when she is working with someone as fast as Riho too. Besides that I'm just tired of constant interference in every single big match she has.

They need to make up their mind with Britt, they try to have it both ways with her. She’s a chickenshit heel and a badass at the same time.
Like all the interference and she just wins CLEAN in the end anyway. You had this problem with the Tay Conti match as well.
The Hayter stuff really should have led to her losing here, it really was a dud.

You can be a good wrestler who has assholes cheat for you, AEW literally did that with Kenny Omega too, dont see how it's an issue with Baker either... Do not agree on this match being a dud whatsoever, Baker proved she can finally beat Riho after the match was on even ground. Riho kicked out of just about everything and it came down to the final move. I feel like peoples hatred of Britt are clouding their judgments at this point.

Why do Britt's opponents simply not just bite on her hand when the Lockjaw is applied?

Why should I care if the heel can “overcome.” The problem is, Britt is not Kenny Omega. She cannot make it work like he can. She was slow and awkward for most of this match.
It doesn’t work if her opponent is noticeably holding back.
This booking does no one any favors. Also all of her title are the same now. It’s boring as Hell at this point.
The Riho vs. Hayter match was so much better.

I thought the women's match was great. Too many shenanigans at the beginning, but when it found its rhythm it was really good.

Like. People are complaining about Britt's reign, but Shida had that belt for over a year and the only title matches I remember her having in that time were against Thunder Rosa, Abadon and Britt. At least Britt's reign, I can name all her challengers (Nyla, Velvet, Kris, Ruby, Tay, Riho). And the matches have been damn good. The mark of a great Champion is giving off the aura that they can lose that title at any time, yet still pull off the win. And with the way things are being set up, there are at least three people who could potentially take the title from her, leaving an air of unpredictability around when she'll finally drop it.

Britt wins, but they really built that up like she COULD lose. It's going to happen soon, pretty obvious. She BARELY retained tonight. Maybe it’s subjective, but I never bought for a second she was gonna lose. Their booking is way too predictable, you can do all the near falls you want, it ain’t working.

Why do Britt's opponents simply not just bite on her hand when the Lockjaw is applied? Because it's like the Mandible Claw, it's triggering the gag reflex and a human's bite force is coming from the lower jaw. I don't get how this is complicated.

I also thought the match itself was good, although I’m getting just a bit tired of Britt. This match she actually looked vulnerable, though, so I’m willing to do the proverbial “wait and see,” because it’ll be glorious when someone finally knocks her down a peg.

Why do Britt's opponents simply not just bite on her hand when the Lockjaw is applied? Same reason why they didn't with the mandible claw. It presses on the nerves in your mouth so you can't. As a dentist, she's going to know those nerves.

If only women's wrestling, had its own cruiserweight division. Riho would probably be a big star in any promotion that had one. A lot of Joshi promotions have “divisions” of high speed matches which is partly the style she does.

And i will say I disagree with that notion just like I did in the above post. I thought her and Riho brought their A Game and the crowd was completely invested into both of them for it. People are free to have their thoughts, I just disagree and thought this was Baker's best defense and think both girls deserve their due for it

The Riho vs. Hayter match was so much better. With the Bucks and Kenny, not only did they have a much higher match quality ceiling, but there was an actual character and story arc for their runs. Kenny and the Bucks' breakup with Hangman led to them all embracing their dick sides and that all had plotlines that continued and developed til the Hangman/Omega match. But like what's Britt's character arc? She's static, she just is "i'm the best, i cheat to win, D....M.....D" and it's going nowhere. She's in the mud narratively and in ring it's looking like she's getting outpaced.
