I have to admit that in the last few years, yeah, but I held on to the notion it was WWF before for the longest time.

If it is important to what is being discussed then I make sure to make the distinction between WWF and WWE. And WWWF if going back that far.
Casually I use whatever. I may call current WWE WWF if it helps the person I am talking to understand what I am referring to.

Yes. Any show before the name change, I call it WWF.

No, quite the opposite, actually. I still call it WWF today, on occasion, has a better ring to it and is easier on the tongue, IMO.

I still call it WWF in casual conversation. Here in the UK, "WWF" is still a household name from the late 80s/early 90s. WWE never got that kind of mainstream exposure, so using that name normally draws a blank.
But as a stickler for accuracy, I would always prefer to use WWWF, WWF and WWE for their respective eras.

It's all WWE to me. No point in making the distinction anymore.

I'll use them interchangeably. Like if I'm thinking about it, I'll call it WWF usually (or WWWF if I'm going back even further). But sometimes I'll call it WWE regardless of era.

I don't even know.
I use both names, but don't intentionally use them at certain times.

As someone who vowed to never say WWE when the name change was first announced I sometimes slip. But I use WWWF for 1963-78, WWF for 1979-2002, and WWE from 2003-present.

Yes, when it was the WWF I call it the WWF (and still slip up and say WWF to this day)
WWE will never be right to me. Never

I will use them interchangeably, especially if WWE has been used for almost a full two decades (come May it will be a full two decades).

I still call them WWE because you don't deadname people even when you don't like them Apart from in the eyes of American law, wouldn't call a corporation a person. Like others have said, it's like any sports team or company, it's an era when they were called that. Deadnaming also has a very particular meaning and using it to refer to a company is actually kind of disgusting.

Whenever I review classic ppvs on my YouTube channel from before May 2002, I swap back and forth calling it WWE and WWF, but WWF moreso. Now you mention it, it's hard to believe we're nearing the 20th anniversary of that name change.

I call all of it WWE for the most part. Most younger fans (30 and under) and casual fans in general have no idea what WWF is at this point. The only time I might say WWF is with older, die hard fans.

It was WWF then, so I call it WWF.
When I'm talking about history, I don't refer to the Roman Empire as Italy or the Italian Empire.

Just do like they do on every shoot interview. "Wwe- or wwf at the time."
