Inspired by the Mr. Hughes appreciation thread, I decided to come up with this post.
One of the least prolific superstars to ever step foot in the ring, Hughes never had time to make an impact on fans(nor did he do much in that limited time). Sporting sunglasses, a fedora, and a suit, he played the role of a silent enforcer for legends such as Triple H and Chris Jericho in 1997 and 1999 respectively. He also had a brief feud with The Undertaker where he stole his earn in the summer of 1993. All were blink and miss runs as they didn't even total three months.
That being said, lets try to make any three of his appearances more memorable by giving him a title run. ANY championship(though World and IC title is a stretch for someone of his caliber).
I'll post mine after I see a few responses.

It's unfortunate that their career paths did not intersect, because Mr. Hughes and Bubba Rogers would have made an amazing big man team in their suits and suspenders. Give them the WCW tag titles.

Actually, when he was Jericho's bodyguard in September 1999, The Big Bossman was there. Just have him gradually break away from him and form his own team with the Bossman. You can even swop the Holly Cousin's reign for them.

He shows up backstage at a Raw in 2000. Squashes Crash Holly, and wins the Hardcore Belt. He holds it for a week, and Crash regains it by pinning him after he passes out on the crapper.

Easy way out, but 24/7 Hardcore champ would have been possible in 99.

Echoing others, but he would have been someone I'd have loved to see pop up at some point in the Hardcore title era, both since he's got one of my favorite looks in wrestling, and because Mr. Hughes would have been fun to see clash with Viscera, with Crash probably picking up the scraps.
Barring that, probably would have been a competent transitional tag champion, though I would be concerned he might fall asleep on the ring apron.

1999:
Survivor Series: The Rock vs. Triple H vs. Mr. Hughes.
Mr Hughes wins the WWF title and feuds with Boss Man.

Mr. Hughes should have crushed Hulkamania at King of the Ring 93 instead of Yokozuna.
Goes on to have a Sammartino-length world title run for the rest of the 90s.

Nah, Crash tries to cash in but Hughes falls on him for the three count.
