Let's talk about some of the best moments from the regular referees. Even the all time greats can be underappreciated. What are some memorable moments you have from referees? Here to me is the GOAT ref moment - the late great Randy Anderson being in disbelief that Hollywoood Hogan submitted to the Torture Rack. It really helped make that Luger title win so special.

Tommy Young and Lil Natch are gonna be all over this thread.
Probably Brian Hildebrand/Mark Curtis as well.

Ken Shamrock in the Bret Hart/Austin 'I Quit' match at WM13. The pop he gets for going at Bret after the match helps cement the infamous double turn

Also back when there was Saturday morning slam Sheamus and Curtis Axel had a match where Sheamus airplane spun Axel and Axel was so dizzy he rolled up the red thinking it was Sheamus and Sheamus counted the pin.

My parents were casual fans who mainly watched because I insisted that Monday nights were for Nitro. They used to enjoy watching Mark Curtis more than they enjoyed the actual matches.

TNA guy getting destroyed by Bully Ray’s powerbomb. Slick Johnson is well-known for his slippery nature.

I do not remember which match it was other than that it was Attitude Era WWF, but Tim White was refereeing and Jim Cornette tried to hit him. Instead of falling down like he got shot like a normal ref, White untucked his referee shirt and raised fists Irish style on Cornette who fell over backwards trying to get away while the commentors talked up White's Irish fighting spirit. First last and only time I remember Tim White being anything other than a generic ref (we don't talk about the awful suicide angle).

Invisible Man vs. Invisible Stan, a match carried entirely by the ref & crowd reactions.
