Dunno. But since it's on topic, does anyone remember Shane Douglas' failed promotion Extreme Rising?

What was the one where it was all well-known wrestlers, but all the names were different? MVP was "Lord of War".

All I remember was that Shane dicked around the fans and then wrestled in a shirt because the fans were chanting 'you're a fatty' or something along those lines at him.

I always throw this out there just in case people aren't aware but Ryan Katz finally threw footage out there last year. It's mostly rough-cut stuff but interesting to see where it was going. If I recall right, Jericho was one of his big investors and Katz is probably wise to never run into Chris again: www.youtube.com/channel/UCinSnCQjKp-QBoZqMDDrkFg

I remember it for the wrong reasons. The company was around for a while couple of years. Its was a want to be ECW company based of the Extreme Reunion shows. Piggy backing off the success of ECW ONS and Hardcore Homecoming. But of course about 5 years after those two events happened and whoever was left in ECW not in a major company, most of whihc was broken down passed there prime guys. It was a lot of mess Shane lies of telling he was going to stop wrestling because he was so broken down and out of shape but still kept going. Sabu vs Justin Credible had a medical reasons cancelling it. I remember Stevie Richards became the champion and defended on other shows where it changed hands a few times. Non of which on Upraising since how it closed. Richards held the belt since 2012 but the title changes happened in 2014. Matt Hardy is the last recorded champion.

Good ol' Extreme Rising. I used to crack jokes about Luke Hawx being cursed because of that and Hardcore Roadtrip imploding in the same week.

Also didn't Stevie get in trouble at one point for offering to put the title on the line in a game of Madden

To answer OP's actual question..
You're thinking if WWP (Worldwide Wrestling Promotions). It was rumored to be financed by Milton Wilpon who was a part owner of the Mets. It was supposed to have healthcare and all this stuff, and a few big signed names. As far as I remember though, at least one of the wrestler denied having signed, and nothing else ever came of it.

This and GFW were why people needed to actually see AEW try to be an actual company before they believed it.

Time line I remember it. It was late 2010 when the first "Announcement" happened and said some big news was going to happen in Jan 2011. I think it was proven BS because the Booker T claim. First TNA started returning the MEM at the end of 2010, now Nash and Booker where gone form TNA for a few months at this point. Than 2011 Booker T and Nash showed up to that years rumble. TNA was left spinning there tires on the MEM angle. Booker T signed to be an announcer.
