I think..both, tbh. I give the edge to Danielson/Okada cause obviously that’s one of the biggest “dream” matches you could do these days. But yeah, I think Kenta/Punk could happen easily too. One day, anyway.

I think there's more chance of Okada and Danielson agreeing to their match than there is Punk agreeing to wrestle KENTA.

I think Okada v Danielson will definitely happen. It’s just a case of whether it happens in NJPW, AEW or both.
Punk v KENTA is years too late. I understand why people bring it up because of the GTS and other moves Punk took from KENTA but I think the match would just be okay in 2022 and not the potential classic fans were thinking of 10-12 years ago.

I think there's a really good chance of Danielson vs. Okada happening, especially with Bryan working heel now. Just likely to happen later than originally intended because of the Omicron-related travel restrictions.

I picked Danielson/Okada because I believe Danielson has a list of guys he wants to work with and has probably asked TK to make them happen. Punk seems more in the work with the roster mode than the dream match mode. A match with KENTA could very well happen, but Danielson/Okada seems more of a "when" than an "if". |

I am all for cross promoting but NJPW would be idiots to send all these guys previously and then just let them get the draw for a match with their single top guy.

For the record, I think both matches happen.
I think Punk/Kenta is more likely to happen first. I think Kenta's more willing to come to AEW and wrestle CM Punk before Okada comes and wrestles Danielson. The only other way is if Danielson goes to Japan and wrestles Okada, but that HAS to be a Wrestle Kingdom match...
so Kenta, you have a year.

A note: KENTA is currently injured and is expected to be out a while.
For that reason, I see Okada and Danielson happening first.
