Still hard to believe that Toni and Billie are both gone from WWE now.

The short-lived duo of Billie and Jillie was nice.

The IIconics always had go-away heat with me, but I’ll confess that this was actually pretty funny.

The only thing I watched of WWE last year was the Rumble and outside of Bianca winning, it was the genuine highlight of the night.
How both of them got broken up, never mind released, I have zero idea.
EDIT: The Storm bit was great but her walking to Shayna Baszler like she was a mid 30s Tom and Jerry character? Tremendous.

Gotta love they split the iiconics up randomly with no build up... Peyton immediately ends up in another tag team with Lacey and Billie does some like minor backstage stuff trying to become a manager or something... and both are promptly released...

I loved when Peyton tried getting her to do the IIconics pose with her and Billie wanted to do it, but also didn't want to make Ruby mad.

Gotta love they split the iiconics up randomly with no build up... Peyton immediately ends up in another tag team with Lacey and Billie does some like minor backstage stuff trying to become a manager or something... and both are promptly released... Apparently Vince was high on Peyton and wanted to give her a singles push. Which I do think there was at least some truth to as towards the end of their run as a team she was definitely being presented as the alpha of the team in that they were giving her some singles wins on Raw and Billie was usually the one eating the pin when they would lose. However then she mucked up a meeting with Vince where Vince was doing his getting do know you deal he likes to do (what do you do in your free time?, what are your interests?) and I guess maybe due to nerves Peyton told him the truth and that she was a boring person and homebody who just liked to stay at home and watch TV and hang out with her dog. After this Vince lost interest. I guess they had discussions about doing a motivational speaker gimmick that ended up never coming to fruition with her as they decided to give it to Eva Marie instead. Sad thing is Peyton around that time had started to get into bodybuilding and was in a few competitions. If she would've told him that Vince probably would've pushed to her to the moon. Granted though I don't know exactly when the meeting took place. It might have have occurred during or after the Lacey team in which it would still be yet another case of WWE being dumb and doing something that made no sense.

Billie was my absolute favorite part of SD up until her release. She's just one of those performers, like Shotzi, who makes me happy every time she's out there. The stuff I've seen from her and Peyton in Impact has been very entertaining and definitely more like those WWE.com exclusives they always shined in.

Genuinely one of the best things of that years Rumble.
Billie could easily have been a funny part of any show, though she may have had a shelf life, that point wasnt reached when they cut her.

Her trying to get a partner for the Rumble was funny, but the punchline was fantastic, midway through the Rumble when suddenly it was Billie Kay, Peyton, the Riott Squad and Jillian Hall in the ring, and Kay was trying to keep her former alliances, her current alliances and the alliance that was only in her head all intact at once.
There were so many great things in that womens rumble. Sigh.

She was seriously one of the funniest people on the roster.
Thinking about that night makes me sad now.

That was excellent. Rumble's need more funny and contained stories/gimmicks like this, especially now there are two of them. Billie's resume schtick was great.

I love a Rumble with a storyline (one of my favourites was Punk taking over the 2010 Rumble). This was a great story, and I loved Billie and Jillie Her trying to get a partner for the Rumble was funny, but the punchline was fantastic, midway through the Rumble when suddenly it was Billie Kay, Peyton, the Riott Squad and Jillian Hall in the ring, and Kay was trying to keep her former alliances, her current alliances and the alliance that was only in her head all intact at once. There were so many great things in that womens rumble. Sigh. I forgot how well booked that all ended up being.
