2 episodes in and… not too great, but not too bad. Hilary Duff is very likable and the character is a lot less grating than Ted Mosby. I like the twist that they tell you from the beginning, {Spoiler} that she’s already met the father right in the first episode, but the secret is “which one of these guys is the father?”

I watched the first 2 episodes, Hilary Duff is likable but there just wasn't much about the show that was funny

Hopefully they don't build this up over several seasons only to kill off the dad in the background and she goes back an ex-boyfriend at the end.

I thought it was ok and will probably stick with it, but hopefully it does improve as it goes.

Did anyone even like HIMYM? I got sick of it after watching it in reruns for a while. Reminded me of a more grating "Friends" and I hated Ted Mosby. Barney is just cringe.

I loved HIMYM until the later seasons when they were dragging things out with the Barney-Robin wedding. The last season was also pretty lousy, but it had a couple of standout episodes like the one from Tracey's perspective. Then the finale just nosedived off a cliff.

I'm waiting for "How I Met Your Half-Brother." The plot will be a lot more interesting.

I’m still not over the ending to how I met your mother and likely never will lol
I’ve never watched an episode of it since then and I really liked the show until then
Like I’m not mad, just disappointed……so, so disappointed
Anyway as a result, no plans to watch but for anyone who does, I hope it’s enjoyable

It wasn't my favorite show or anything, but it was decent. And I don't give a shit that it ended the way it did or feel ripped off or anything. Who the mom was seemed like an afterthought to the lives of the main characters in general the entire series through. The way it ended just continued that.

After watching, this show grew on me. While I like 10 episode seasons of dramas and adventure that get right to the point, I hope that season two has a more standard length season since they’re going by week to schedule like a regular tv network. Also… I was pleasantly surprised but confused by {Spoiler} the captain reappearing But man I was smiling when {Spoiler} robin scherbatsky was at the bar The one good thing about a spin-off/sequel series is that they’d hopefully correct some of the mistakes of the previous show
