Brock WAS pissed. The commentators mentioned it several times. He was throwing out folks fast and furious because he was so pissed.

I'm pretty sure WWE tells them not to do this. They want video game wrestling, where everyone does their choreographed entrances every time without fail. The McDonalds of wrestling. Anywhere you go in the USA you can find a McDonalds and every one is supposed to have the same menu prepared the same way. Vince wants every show to have the same wrestlers doing the same moves in the same matches.

I miss the time Owens sold his injuries from the match with Mox at Rumble 2016.

I appreciate that I'm not the only person who immediately thought of Sammy Guevara.

I appreciate that I'm not the only person who immediately thought of Sammy Guevara. He immediately came to mind for me too. Along with the Young Bucks.

I remember Aleister Black still selling a knee injuy from the previous night's Takeover in the Rumble when he entered. He and KO are just a couple of guys I've noticed actually being committed to selling in WWE recently.

I miss the time Owens sold his injuries from the match with Mox at Rumble 2016. There was also Unforgiven 2008 when Jericho came out as the surprise last entrant for the Championship scramble after Shawn Michaels had decimated in an unsanctioned match a few matches prior, looking and acting like he had been hit by a semi truck.

Unbelievable dedication and continuity.

I mean, this right here is the problem. Brock's character is one-note. (also, selling isn't really the right word, here? We're just talking about acting. Brock actually does a pretty decent job of selling his opponents' moves.)

The WWE (read Vince) is apparently against selling for some reason... which I'll never understand. Bro, Eddie Kingston is one man in a sea of people We got fools jumping off ladders doing canadian destroyers and coming back next week like nothing happened Don't pretend this isn't the sickest thing in the world. Wrestling should only be fools jumping off ladders doing Canadian Destroyers. HEY! I have never seen a Ladder do a Canadian Destroyer.

The WWE (read Vince) is apparently against selling for some reason... which I'll never understand. I wish I could find where I first read the quote, but apparently Vince writes every show with the idea in mind that it is someone’s first show. That’s why there’s glacial story development, no show-to-show selling, everyone doing their entrances and moves the same… It also tracks with their constant chase of the casual viewer that no longer exists. It feels really counter-productive for a show that runs every week for the entire year every year.
